Thank you for the good example of how this unit works! I tried holding it in multiple ways and was stymied at every turn. What you are doing is the only way I've found that it does work!!! The verbiage Nazis are right, they are magazines, not clips and these are cartridges, not shells, but your method shows how this very nice machine works, so thanks.

Just bought mine for my new Buck Mark. Works well after lubing it up. One problem I have is sometimes the first cartridge will fall into the magazine vertically. I'll play around with the two screws to see if I can fix that.

I've had mine for about 10 years. Once you find the sweet spot with the screw, just give it the occasional shot of REM OIL, and you're good to go. I'm getting 1-2 second mag loads with it.

I'd try adjusting your magazine screw in a bit, it's not designed to have that extra round fall out - it's a sign of it not being set up right. Your life will be much easier if you get it set right, no dropped rounds!

The round falls out because of the ball detent not the adjustment screw. The ball detent adjustment makes no difference, because the problem is the shape of the end of the magazine. I guess you could say it is a design flaw in the cliploader, but I can live with that. Trust me I really analogized this problem for a long time. Thanks for the remark!

@@sewskates Thanks for getting back to me Steve! I am referring to the adjustment screw on the bottom of the tool, i.e. the end which the magazine is inserted. Are you getting a total of 10 rounds plus one dropping off, or 9 rounds plus one dropping off? The problem is either: A) There is *just* enough space left for an 11th round to be dropped in, requiring the tension on the magazine follower to be *decreased* by threading the magazine depth screw in, or B) There is *just* too little space for the 10th round to fit in, requiring a bit more tension on the follower and therefore the screw to be unthreaded a bit more. Give it a shot, managed to get mine working like a dream this way so nothing to lose giving it a go!

Don’t use wd-40. Use rem oil as recommended. Shoot a little in a full hopper. Adjust the screw at the bottom to eliminate a round from falling out. Why do people make videos like this? Read and follow the instructions for years of perfect trouble free operation. 4:36
