Ultimate DIY Chicken Scalder (just $50)

This is a simple build and it works great!
If you have a 240V outlet, this is an affordable and very effective scalder. Just source a container between 10-15 gallons and make a quick trip to the local hardware store.

It is technically possible, but the metal container and grounded plug makes it unlikely - about the same risk as getting a shock from your water heater.

@@samuelwiltzius throw on a GFCI pigtail or integrated extension cable just to be safe. Otherwise looks great to me 👍
