I'm humbly appreciative of this young ladies knowledge and level of clarity that she presents it. Regardless of the many ideas presented on KZbin on this subject, she is offering a very detailed and honest approach to getting the projects done. A billion thumbs up to her contributions to the development of mankind...

Those circuit board things look like magical glyphs. And the process in which you make them is also not too different from mixing a some kind of brew in a cauldron under the cover of darkness then cooking it beneath the stars.

You should get a job at HP and they're always looking for potential candidates like yourself. Anyone that didn't think that you have potential the wrong and I definitely think you have a lot of potential to get a good-paying job. So keep up the good work and hope you'll continue to make good tutorials real soon.

Pretty spectacular but also pretty extensive for the application. I don't think too many people are apt to printing out their own circuit boards for such an endeavor. I would think arduino would be more useful (and easier) for this project. You could even incorporate an rolling gimbal for controlling the camera azimuth along the slider. Just my two cents. You've created a pretty sweet looking setup. Very smart girl.

Well I don't know why you could not see it at the URL I have provided. Go to 4:26 in this video and click on the annotation hotspot on the video. That should open my website in another browser window or tab. Click on the Circuit and PCB button in my web page.

What I used to do was draw the layout on with a sharpie. Then etch. Easier process for simple layouts.

why did you not use Eagle cad, its by cadsoft is the standard for hackers and modders. easy to use and near every pcb fab house uses the file type. also using a fab house for the pcb would give a more professional aspect. and less chance of shorts

DipTrace has sponsored me by providing a license of their PCB software. With no offense to Eagle, as I have used it, I found DipTrace is more powerful and easy to use. It can also import Eagle files and has an utility to export PCB files into Gcode. Try it, they have full featured demo for download.
