Ultimate Doom - "Shores of hell" 100% secrets (Ultraviolence)

"Shores of hell" single-segmented playthrough in ultraviolence difficulty, getting 100% secrets in every level (NOTE: this is not a speedrun).
Surprisingly I managed to get this in the first attempt (I studied the levels previously in order to not skip any secret, though). Of course the run isn't perfect, I'm specially not happy with my playing in "Fortress of Mistery", but hey, no one is perfect xD
Played in ZDoom using Ultimate Doom version 1.9 WAD, and captured using FRAPS.

Man, after playing Project Brutality for so long, I forgot how simple and perfect vanilla Doom is. This game is so well balanced.

I like playing it with smooth doom and most settings as vanilla as possible. Except for the black gloves option, that’s a must.

The speed of Doom :) I remember showing the game to some friends in college and they all said "Wow, you play so fast, it's like a blur at times."

Yeah... though there are parts of the game where I like to stop and just admire the scenery for a few seconds. Despite its old and simple engine, Doom has a haunting atmosphere that few modern games can achieve :)

I accidentaly went into the secret level shown in 15:37 on my first playthrough. It was incredibly difficult and after about an hour of trying I gave up. I was so happy the next day when I realised that that level wasn't actually the next one but it was a secret instead

Superb! Like most folks, I find the style of the phobos base to be thoroughly to my liking, but I still play the other episodes once in a while. :)

hahaha same thing here, my friends get really impressed when they see me playing Doom. It's not that I'm way too good at it though, but they are used to modern day FPS' slow-paced gameplay style.

I never gotten past that dark room that you die in it’s cool to see what happened next that floating monster seems hard to kill I can see why it’s better to evade him I love the sega like shadowrun soundtrack

No it's actually fast because it's not a TAS, i mentioned it in my comment but if you haven't done any Doom Speedruns your playing level would indeed be not above average anymore. :)

Fernito69 I know, but the weird thing is, that for example one of my DOS Versions had the same (original) Soundtrack and my other DOS version the Soundtrack that the Xbox Version had too. Why are there different variationes in the first place? However I like the original one the most :)

@@syrianterroristgaming6732 first you have to press the switch you can see to the right at 0:18. A slab with 2 switches will rise just behind you. One of them opens the red key closet (I skipped this because I use an exploit)
