What prevents someone with a $300 remote from coming by opening the hatch pairing and jetting off with it? If no battery then it’s Uber light and then running off with it. I ask not because I’m incredibly brilliant but because it happened to me!! Cheers and best

A: Literally nothing B. I only leave my board on the dock when I'm hanging out on the beach 30 feet away from the board. So this solution is only used to keep boards stored while we're having a beach day. This is more about easy access and docking while switching riders, batteries and snack breaks than it is about a long term storage solution. C: I live on a private lake with no public access and left my boat, wakeboards, and everything else in a completely unsecured boat-lift with the key in the ignition for previous 18 years with zero issues. So I guess my advice is, people ruin everything so don't be near other people and support free and forced birth-control until the world's population reduces to a reasonable number closer to 1 billion and then nearly all of societies's problems will vanish except perhaps for an ample supply of cheap labor which is only a problem for the top 1%. Maybe also dismantle the top 1% while you are at it? Summary: People suck. John Galt had the right idea.

Board doesn't get scratched and banged up? Especially with boat wakes and windy days? Looks cool though. Better then carrying it up on shore every time.

A. Don't really care about scratches BUT… B. It's a floating dock so it goes up and down as the water goes up and down. C. Private lake, hardly any traffic at all. You might notice that most times you see me ride in my vids I'm literally the ONLY person on the lake. D. I don't leave my board there. We just use it on beach days when lots of people are taking the boards out so that we have a safe place to park them and launch them when they feel like doing so. The longest I've left them there unattended is maybe an hour and a half while we were up on the deck having dinner. They have always been fine when we returned. I think as long as their batteries are in them, they are heavy enough to stay put. If they don't have batteries in them I bring them up on the dock and leave them upside down and throw a beach blanket over them to keep them from getting too much of a UV tan.
