I recently got the iphone 15 pro max and the battery backup is phenomenal, the fact that apple provides so many hidden features to reduce battery usage and the phone adjusts to your daily usage is good, i dont even charge it fully just to 80% and even after full day of photography and streaming i still have 40% battery which doesn't exhaust even after continuous streaming till 5-6 hrs

None of them has bad batter. On a daily basis, no one runs their phones on such heavy load. So, as long as you are not doing ultra heavy gaming, you'll be good with any of them

I am a average WhatsApp user, I have pixel 6a, Google phones are not optimised for WhatsApp, battery gets drained very quickly. Samsung phones are also not optimised but iPhone latest series is good but no reviewer/KZbinr include WhatsApp in their test as then all models may fail in test

I am using s23 and it's fantastic in all departments. Currently I am getting 7-7.5 hours SoT ( it may defer as It is affected by different factors ) with medium usage like an hour or so of gaming, KZbin, OTT's and browsing internet and a few more apps with minimal usage. I am getting this SoT using WiFi mostly and may be a little bit on 5G as well with bluetooth turned on I am running Android 14 with one ui 6.0. Didn't face any issues at all, 🤞🏻 Loved it 💥 Samsung nailed it with S23 series 💯 Keep it up Samsung 🙌🏻

Lol Phonebuff made a battery drain test with having phones tuned on different resolution. The difference is like about 5-10mins. Maybe Crydroid needs 6000mh to beat the iPhone

For example it's really ass to try downloading an anime episodes from the browser, then archive it in a folder in your video player or it doesnt even allow its user to bulk download videos even in Google Drive. Android is much more reliable when you use your phone more than typing, wasting time on social media and maybe playing games for a period on your phone. I'm using my phone as waching anime tool most of the time so Android is superior for me because of Tim Cook thinks what you should be allowed to do with your device. I'd definitely use iPhone if this wasnt the case and screen had punch hole instead of dynamic island which is very bad for 19:5 viewing experience.

I am using OP 11 it easily gives close to 7.5-8 HRS SOT with 15% battery left. So, it definitely nails on day to day usage. At times I even got 9.5 hrs with moderate usage. Hope they won't ruin this device with the upcoming updates!!

Quite. So, for example, if rendering a video, the Pixel will use less energy in one minute of rendering, as it has less powerful chips, but because the iPhone does it 2X faster, any gain by using less performant chips, the Pixel loses and more, due to taking twice as long to finish.

I don't know but I think, Apple have improved 15 pro max's by optimising it as usual and also reduced 15 plus battery backup slightly so that there Pro Max phone is Max in everything's, As we have seen in your last iPhones battery backup video that iPhone 15 plus was winner. And I have some reasons also, as they are of same battery size and 15 pro Max has 120fps display and A17 pro chip (which has few gpu cores also) these two things should consume slightly more battery as compared to 15 plus. But the results says opposite now, Thanks to Apple 😂

The 120hz display is adaptive and thus when viewing 30 fps video, the refresh rate drops to 30 which the regular 15 cannot do. And the a17 pro is 3nm which is more efficient than a16. So it’s no surprise it won. The earlier poorer results from the 15 pro max were due to less optimisation for the brand new chip, as apps have to be updated for it. After the update, the battery backup as well as the performance has improved.

why no S23+ ? if S23 was so close, the S23+ would be better than iP15+ S23 should have been compared with normal iP15 (not plus). seems unfair comparison. not to mention in S23U Screen Resolution is higher as well as Display size is bigger. and also S23U is last Gen while iP15 series and Google Pixel series was Present Gen. So you should have atleast included S23+ edit: also IPhones do not have background processes. Which means that if you are downloading/uploading a file from say Chrome or Gdrive or anything, but you change the App or lock the screen, it will stop that process. so because of all this it has 0 background processes, is newer generation 3nm, smaller screen and lower resolution, etc it gives slightly better battery. with all that Samsung also has faster charging so it all compensates for that.

I might be wrong, but iPhone's dropped brightness quite early to save battery, however they are quite efficient. Pixel did the same. My one issue was that S23 Ultra and One Plus 11 have a QHD resolution screen which drains more power than the others. Albeit, i am quite surprised to see S23 up there.

S23 user, I charge my phone to 90 percent in the morning then goes to office, I am not a gamer or heavy user, but I use my phone for youtube videos, social media, some photos may be for like 2 hours and more then 100 calls, I still have a battery life of around 45 percent left by the end of my day. I am really satisfied with my phone no battery anxiety at all.
