Who doesn't love a good cream tea? Scones, clotted cream and jam .YUM! Sadly clotted cream isn't easily accessible here in Melbourne.

Tim, you are a breath of fresh air and the food you talk about is amazing. What's the best food in Edinburgh to try and why?

You are truly so sweet. Thank you so much. I loved almost all the food I are in Scotland. By far my favourite was definitely haggis. It is so versatile and the Scots have fused their iconic national dish into so many variants. Haggis bon bons, loaded fries, pizza, filo pastries, spring rolls, bolognaise, and the list goes on. It's delicious! One new dish I discovered was 'fruit pudding'. A sweet and savoury item usually part of a full Scottish breakfast. Delicious!

Gasp.... I miss Lorne sausage. It's like spam with pomp. We cannot get it here, can we?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lorne sausage! Quietly between us, I also love Spam. hehe Yes, we can actually get Lorne sausge easily in Melbourne. I have a couple of Scottish butchers that make them locally. As well as haggis, Scotch pies, potato scones, etc.
