Voidwalker is a trap if you're playing hardcore. Basically, it's fine for regular pulls, but once anything goes wrong (e.g. it can't hold aggro due to resist, or you accidentally pull adds) it suddenly stops being useful, and in those situations if you've been leveling with voidwalker your defense skill will be low and you'll start getting absolutely bodied by the mobs. Stick with the imp if you're on hardcore imo. You'll take a bit of damage during regular play, but you'll be in a better position when shit hits the fan.

Not really fel domination and voidwalker is the safest simply because of the 2 instant sac shields you can get.

Improved Drain soul is definitely not worth it

It is worth it because it has been bugged for years in that the increased mana regeneration affects drinking - with the talent active, you take 3 ticks from the drinking water and it will take you from oom to full mana. It’s the fastest way to kill mobs->level.

@ I leveled 4 warlocks during classic and never really found it worth taking. I had almost no down time. I guess depends on how you’re playing. In the end I found Affliction spec with drain tanking using the Succ was the best way.

@@Rinavani drain tanking is a great way to level, nothing wrong with it and its zero down time. The newer spec is affliction with imp ds and shadowburn, being that you can use mana inefficient spells to kill targets faster, and imp ds drink for 3 sec (or drink walk if super sweaty). with a faster TTK on each mob but a slight increase in down time, it is faster and what is used by speedrunners. I prefer it on pvp servers while leveling, but it is entirely down to preference and what people enjoy more!

I like the succubus but for some reason, Icy Veins is pushing a voidwalker affliction build and thankfully you showed the talents I need to do my drain tank succubus built.
