I am a COTA and I worked in the school district for 4 years. I loved it. The team I worked with, the kids, the time off, all of it. But pay was half the amount than what I am getting paid for home health and 25% less than an out pt facility. I am in Colorado. Pay in general is less in Colorado -overall. Does not match the cost of living. But thank you for your video. It was very informational. All your videos are wonderful.

I have worked with older adults for over 20 years in my career. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I could no longer work in nursing homes. Due to not having much pediatric experience, it took me a while to figure out what to do. I was fortunate to find a position as a cyber school OT where I get the best of the school based and home based settings! My visits are all virtual in the students' homes and if they cancel last minute, I lost no driving time.

I also have shared your videos wth other OT’s… can’t wait for your next video… we have been having snow in PA so no school… I take advantage of of that time to complete IEP work and scroll Pinterest /you tube for creative ideas to complete fine motor skills wth the kidos… I do find free printables … that the students enjoy: tracing / eye hand coordination tasks and multi step sequential activities for the kidos … LOVE OT!!
