Official terminology changes in PGR Global as of Reveries With A Whale (Pulao patch): Construct --> Omn Transcendant --> Un Both groups will be classified as Constructs now. Once you have an A-Rank character, you can farm that character's Shards for free. That means you probably won't ever need to target duplicate A-Ranks. This goes doubly if you're a spender: you'll gain so many A-Ranks just pulling for S-Ranks that you should never need extra A-Rank Shards.

When PGR global dropped and we had the alpha banner, I made the mistake of pulling on fate banner rather than themed but... After almost a year and a half of playing, I was able to get Selena amp in the fate banner xD

One thing that is important to add with this part 3:55 - 4:06 : A ranks are obtainable without using BC due to the fact that blue tickets are constantly given. Transcendents on the other hand needs BC as yellow tickets are given rarely. BC is important as it can be used for all banners, so don't use it on A rank banners. Use blue tickets which are free and have no other use other than the A rank banner. Transcendents needs BC, so pulling them needs planning. Consider that the BC you are using on that Transcendent banner can be used for the more prioritized banners/beneficial banners.

@@lollipop-qg8mh Those two are many months away, so absolutely! Bianca is in September, which means you have three or so months to get 15k BC. If you're consistent in doing your dailies/weeklies, that will be super easy!

These videos are SO helpful, really. I couldn't thank you enough. Even after reaching lvl 83, I still feel like an absolute newbie. I still remember I randomly started playing when I bought a new tablet and wanted to download a few games. Sadly, I didn't pay any attention towards the story and just focused on the gameplay and cool characters. I kinda regret always skipping the dialogue, but I'm way too far in the story now to read through all the dialogue from the beginning. So basically, I have no fraking idea what the game is even about and what the missions are that I'm completing. A shame, I know, but I'm still enjoying the game. Sometimes the interface still confuses me, including the R&D research, but your KZbin channel really helps me out a lot.

Congrats on reaching level 83! Hopefully this video helped out with the R&D Research confusion. Story-skipping the start of the game is pretty common from what we've heard. I'd recommend watching the story from here onward, and you'll start to pick it up.

Funnily enough when the wishing banner showed up I picked rosetta because why not. Following that I decided to test the waters, and immediately got silverfang on the first pull. Taking this as a sign of good luck, I proceeded to pull 3 more times, and on that 3rd pull, I obtained rosetta. Just after 4 pulls. Needless to say I was ecstatic to finnally complete my boss roster as well as pull my favorite character

I think it's fair to point out that people that get the upgraded paths on the Battle Pass, will get a full 10-pull of CUB banner tickets if they regularly max out the BP that patch. Since new S Rank CUBs tend to release once every two patches, Battle Pass spenders should passively be able to get every single new CUB that releases each patch. In addition to that, I've tended to get S Rank CUBs to drop early pretty frequently, so sometimes I just don't use the full 20 pulls to hard-pity them, so I have extra summons ready to go for that string of patches where we get new S Rank characters with their own signature S Rank CUBs in the form of Hypereal, to Ice Ayla, to Crimson Weaver Alpha. S Rank CUB early drop rates are crazy high compared to S Rank characters, so it turns out that the new A RANK CUBs are harder to get from the banner than the S Rank ones. So far, I've gotten the majority of my A Rank CUBs from the Norman War Ore shop.

Well on my side I did get most of my cons are from fate pulls around 30-40 but few of them I get them from 60-80 pulls so it's all about luck and risk on fate pulls... I would still choose fate pull up to now because of the satisfaction if you get the current cons only in 10 pulls... Well in the end it's an individual choice to choose between normal pull or fate pull... So yeah!! 💀

The 80-100 isn’t completely without merit. I pulled Liv Empyrea and Karenina Ember before I even made it to 70 pulls. Every pill has a marginally higher chance of being S rank. It could be that I’m just lucky, but I don’t regret it.

You are lucky, and CONGRATS! We love to hear about players beating the odds! While it's true the Fate banner has a higher rate, that rate is still very low (1.5%), and the rate doesn't improve until pull #80. Even then, the S-Rank is not guaranteed until pull #100. When we crunched the numbers, the probability between the two banners basically evened out... BUT, probability is a very fickle thing. You could get lucky... but most people are not lucky. For that reason, it's much safer to stick with the lower pity banner, in this case, the Themed Construct Banner.

The 80 banner saved my life. Understandable that people who saved will use the 60 banner (what i will do too because I'm saving for bianca and alpha on global) but i started 5 days ago on chinese pgr and luckily before bianca banner ended and i had a few pulls and got her and today alpha with ca. 35 pity kn the 80 banner. So for people like me who arent good at saving it could be really good + i got characters eralier when i pulled on the 80 banner than on the 60 banner (obv because of the chances). The 80 Banner is risky but it helped me a lot.

It did for me too! I got many characters there when I was so far from 80 pulls (like Rosetta, Luminance, and Ember). This is the reason why despite being a f2p, I have many S-rank Constructs in my arsenal. But I think it might just be beginner luck? Now that I'm Level 107, the banner doesn't feel generous as it used to be 😂 (I'm at 60/80-100 at Fate Arrival and fingers crossed I could get Hyperreal from it. I can taste regret in my mouth when I think that I could have hit pity on Nanamech if I pulled on 100% haha, but it's okay.)

Hmm for fate banner, sure getting unlucky enough to get over 80 is unfortunate, but statistically you will very rarely reach that, with « themed construct » and all 60 hard pity, it’s much more likely to be forced to hit pity for the character, so almost 60 pulls every time, yes fate is a russian roulette, but 1.5% is really juicy for a gacha game, and by experience it rarely need above 50 to reach (got my garnet in 27 pulls and selena in 7)

Vera Rozen is one of the best A-Rank support characters. She's only outclassed by Selena: Capriccio at SSS-Rank, making Rozen one of the best low-investment characters! Nanami Storm is a B-Rank that all players get, so she's less helpful in the long run, but a good starter Tank to get you through main story content. If you keep pulling on the Base Construct banner, you're guaranteed a random S-Rank character by the 40th pull as a beginner bonus. Keep at it!

Don't worry, you'll have opportunities to guarantee her later! If you give in and pull for her on an Arrival banner (next patch), know that if you get a different character, the subsequent pity will be 100% guaranteed. This risk may be worth it for new players who don't have many S-Rank characters, but it's still a risk, so tread cautiously! You can even get her for free (with blue tickets) in Lamia's patch. It COULD feel bad if you got a pretty irrelevant character (like Karenina: Ember), but if you're the sort of person who will try to get every character one day, that may not matter so much. However, the next THREE patches have S-Rank characters (Lee: Hyperreal, Ayla: Kaleido, Lucia: Crimson Weave) -- and Ayla is free! Alpha's patch has a free S-Rank selector too. They'll all help carry you early on!

As someone who played a ton on release and then haven't touched the game in 3 years (870 days according to the return banner), the main screen is damn intimidating to get back into the game. I have a few SS and SSS characters, but not many and most of them are lower tier except Alpha who apparently got powercrept. Any suggestions for someone who just returned after a long hiatus?
