If you turn off that centre dot setting you mentioned , go further down in settings and you can turn on CENTRE DOT , this way dot doesn’t move from centre of screen

Have you tried the Birdseye final perk? It zooms out the minimap to show more, and when UAV is active it basically turns it into an Advanced UAV. I found it helpful, but it also replaces High Alert so not sure how practical it would be to run Birdseye in WZ2. But in multi its decent

Different players use different techniques, personally I don't hold focus when quick scoping. You're usually within close range if you're aggressively sniping like that and there's no need to stop the sway of the gun because you're ads for a fraction of a second

sniping in this game feels so satisfying. i hate quick scoping and don't really see the point of it besides having to use an OP weapon so you get kills quickly. kinda like the shotgun but better distance. there is nothing more satisfying than hitting another sniper or someone running at 250+ meters out

Thid is a late response i know, but what did you think about quickscoping/sniping in Cold War and how does that one compare to MW2? I started learning and practicing QS'ing in MW2019, I sniped for years ever since since BO2 DSR days. I really enjoyed Cold War sniping/QS'ing and not sure the differences on MW2. I'm actually super glad that they did away with that jump shot crap. They specifically said that in this modern warfare they are going with a more realistic feel well jumpshotting in real life will get you a meeting with Jesus. I would also like them to make maybe a gameplay mode for realism and remove the no scoping as well where running around like a madman will hurt you more than help you and then maybe have an arcade mode that doesn't have all those restrictions so depending on how you want to play that day you're able to. I'm a big mill sim fan the issue is call of duty knocks pretty much all of them out of the park with the graphics so to have them offer somewhat of a more realistic gameplay is actually awesome. You can't go with a military themed combat shooter and make it to where jumping around like a bouncy ball allows you to lock on shots and wipe the board of all the other players who are trying to have more of a combat game play.
