Linear is definitely the most responsive but you lose some precision, especially at range. I am using Linear rn and I love it but its personal preference, the majority of players with like dynamic though. Edit: Noticing a lot of people using Black Ops for assist type now, paired with Dynamic.

Yeah i donk now whats up with that bo aim assist, I use it, seems yo work better at shorter distances. The standar guives you more preccision. Linear is whay more responsive, but it takes long for your muscle memory to master it. I have been using it 1 year and a half, still got to improvw, but i am iqually better in dyanamic as in linear. Linear works better forr preccicion sniper, dynamic its more like submachinegun close quarter. 1Blovk ops with linear. 2Standar with linear 3Standar with dinamic 4Standar black ops Thats my preference

I miss the setting to use the trigger effects as trigger stops. Don't shoot until you press full. But that tapping is enough and you then feel the resistance so that you know when to let go r2

I've been using the Xbox Elite controller with the paddles from the Xbox one gen and the switches on both triggers does this with three different settings. Randomly I'll accidently hit the switch on the shooting trigger and wig out when I have to press it all the way down before I fire.

Hey @scope in advanced controller settings you have left/ right trigger to .13 deadzones that means there’s input delay set to 0 for maximum input. 🤙🏻

I’ve never heard of anyone shorting with the bumpers in my life. L2/R2 are literally called triggers lol, using them makes the control sit in your hand more naturally. I’ve been playing since cod 4 and I never even knew it was and options to use the bumpers to shoot

@@DDS_Rips I swear I’m 99% sure L1/R1 is default in BO1 and BO2 on PS3. ADS and shooting is “binary”, like you either shoot or you don’t, there’s no curve to it unlike racing games etc, so it just feels faster and more snappy to use shorter buttons. Obviously I’ve also just gotten used to it too. L2/R2 wasn’t default on Playstation until BO3, but maybe it was default earlier in Infinity Ward games
