Glass blowing has always fascinated me, but marienette's? I still remember sitting in a chair in any European town in front of a lavish stage watching full productions of marianettes acting out Broadway to historical plays. Thank you so much Valery for reminding me. I'll be looking up marianettes made in Prague!!! LOVE THE CRYSTAL TOO!!!❤🙏👌

You can also visit their gardens - it's like a renaissance fair crossed with a crunchy mom's dream....but even my dad enjoyed it😅

Was at Botanicus. Did not realize that they are closed vertically. How large is their "garden"? You need a lot of herbs and flowers to distill even a small amount of essential oils. That "garden" must be measured in acres or even hectares.

Valerie and guy’s you are the only Czech guides I follow, but I have noticed that every time you guy’s put a video up on a place or subject, most or sum of the other guides follow suit🤨. I suppose it’s flattering in a way. But they don’t have the fun and flair and professionalism of your videos😉. Keep up the great work you guy’s 😘

Great I needed a laugh and you very really not deliver👍. Last time I was there I came back with a portrait of my daughters, a puppet of a which we named Ludmila, a Glass whiskey decanter and classes, and Garnet jewellery for my ex wife. None of the previous do I still have😞. I would have liked to purchased a Chastity belt that was being sold in Prague castle, “not for my wife at the time” but putting flowers in it just as a conversation piece🤣🤣. But I did not buy it😞 Definitely will be looking for some souvenirs when we come out, will definitely go to museum, and castle. My wife likes to collect jugs so will be looking for a traditional design and decorated one😉.

Think you are missing a trick here V. You should get someone to produce "Valery Dolls" with a Prague guide hard wired into them in your lovely voice . Even have different outfits for different seasons - could be a smash hit. Love the trousers BTW 😎

Simply lovely! I had a Marionet as a Child, but not sure it came from Prague. However, when I was 18 I went to Prague and I purchased an silver and kristal saltholder with matching little spoon for my parents. I did okay Valerie, I had one item on your list. ❤️

love your humor and the light, upbeat dynamic of this video. I'll be visiting Prague again in a few days (I've lived there for 20 years) and I was looking for recent tips and this was really helpful. Have you actually tried the glass blowing? It's on my bucket list to learn that skill. Nice selection of locations...I hope the people you shopped for enjoyed their gifts. Btw we also have a Prague related Video up and it would be awesome if you stopped by and let us know your thoughts

Thanks for this video! I'm after regional, hand made, quirky, useful, rare and beautifully designed things. Foods, vintage clothing, homeware and accessories as well as work by independent designers and artisans. Vintage and antiques are great too. Thanks for introducing me to Botanica-- I'd never heard of it until today.

Ahoj Valery ❤️❤️❤️ first, I would like to mention that we joined some of your tours with Kaca, just perfection (although I was hoping to meet you!). Second, I loved Czech food and I like cooking as well, so I got a cookbook as a souvenir with some Czech recipes and I am proud of myself for coming up with this idea haha 😁I loved your chanel, it really helped us organise our amazing trip to Czechia 😍💗👌

Thanks a lot for all these essential details! A couple of questions if you please: - you mentioned that need to wait until Golden Lane is open to enter free. Which time is it? - are the prices usually written everywhere at the items in souvenir shops?
