Please do another Harvest Host video after you have staying at another grouping of places. Maybe a few museums. Maybe a race track. Maybe a horse farm. Any other unique Harvest Host stops. You did great filming on this video. Thanks

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences in this video. I was hesitant about joining HH because my senior dog is my best friend. I was worried that maybe she would be restricted in a lot of the places and confined to the RV while I explored the farm or winery or whatever. She is such a well-behaved dog that I just couldn't bring myself to leave her alone while I have a good time. I also want to take her on lots of walks and hikes in new and beautiful places. After watching your video, and seeing that apparently there are plenty of dog-friendly Harvest Hosts, I'm looking forward to introducing her to new adventures on the road instead of the same old boring campgrounds. You are a lovely couple with an adorable dog, and I hope you continue to have great experiences across this magnificent country.

You make nice and informative videos. Thank you for sharing. Perhaps many of these clips are preCovid-19, but if not, it's disappointing to see so many people selfishly ignoring good public health safeguards, by not wearing masks and socially distancing during a pandemic that has already taken the lives of 225,000 Americans in 8 months. Stay safe.

There are no hookups, right? Can you stay for more than 1 night?

Timely post for me as I've been researching Harvest Host...sounds like a great option. Back in your Roadtrek days you boondocked in nature a lot...just wondering how hard it is to travel with a rv this length? How do you tour cities, etc or do you rent an auto? These are reasons I'm reluctant to go over 21' but I'm at an age where a few more comforts would be appreciated, lol!

We boondock all the time! Just check last week's video kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHiXl2WtlLhqh80. It's our favorite style of caming. No problems with our Class C RV.

@@RVLifestyle Ha, ha, just finished watching it. Answered my question about Walmarts. etc too. i don't like generators but I can see where I might need to reconsider if boondocking remote areas. Good tips on energy preservations and loved the smoke detector.

loved he video, well done. have you been out during Covid-19 and do these places remain oper and what precations are taken? i have a 34 foot Class A and I pull a Jeep. do you thiink I would have a problem? Also can you stay more thn 1 day? Example; Arrive mid day, sight see the location and spend the night and than leaave the next day?
@RVLifestyle4 жыл бұрын
Yes, most are open. No problems at all. As you know, 34 feet is pretty big but in all the sites we visited, your rig would fit. You'd have to call the location and ask about staying longer. Some will allow. Others not. But these are NOT campgrounds and meant generally for just overnight. That said, many locations will have no problem. Just call and talk to them.

Mike and Jennifer, HH seems to be THE place for me; especially, the farms/ranchers, wineries, etc (ok, ANYTHING agricultural), since I was a farm boy (yuppers, 4-H/FFA). Gotta try them out, for sure; do any of them take on "volunteers" for a wk or two +/-? Would really enjoy that, I think. Y'all Be safe and keep bringing these opportunities to us. Thanks, again!

Thanks, Raymond... putting this video together makes us want to head right back out and find some lore great locations.

Hello Mike and Jennifer! I have been listening to your podcast for a little over a year now. This was the first time that I have tuned into one of your videos. You know how in your minds eye, you have an idea of what something or someone looks like, well you two are even better looking than you were in my head. LOL!! And Bo isn't a black, standard poodle like he was in my mind. (I think that the Obama's dog may have played into this)😆 Anyways, I just wanted to reach out and let you know that Ive been tuning into your podcast and now finally subscribed to your KZbin channel. I look forward to watching your videos, and thank you for sharing your experiences with the world. Happy Travels

@@RVLifestyle what I must ask is how do get Bo your dog not to bark when he seen the farm animals? This is 1 of my main reasons for not camping at a HH as we are concerned of our English mastiff an old English bulldog of barking on the owners property. Appreciate your thoughts on this.
