I know they are pricier but smaller companies can't match the price point of the mega-manufacturers. They are very tasty (dip'um in poke) and you'll be supporting a local business! I’m always interested in seeing what other Costco’s have. Your video came up for me today, I came because of Costco and stayed because of the Butterbeer mug. I’m in Northern California and I would have thought your prices to be much higher than ours but a lot were comparable, our rotisserie chickens are $6.99 though!. Our poke is the same price too but they just started carrying it 2 weeks ago!

Hi Sean, You're definitely right Costco's Churro is not that good. I do want to thank you for opening my family's eyes to your Costco my wife was impressed to know we can buy sarongs. I was impressed I can buy Aloha shirts there. The Acai sorbet you bought looks really good. Now I have to see about buying the Mocha Roca and having it shipped to Washington State. @@SeanKaleponi Sean, the best time to visit Grand Canyon is in the spring. Don’t come here during the summer. Even though it’s not hot up in Grand Canyon, but it’s monsoon season and we get a lot of rain,strong winds and flash floods in the summer time. Fall and winter can be very cold. Spring is the best time.

Pro tip: Buy a bag or two of the "Char Siu Manapua"(17:16) (aka cha siu bao) after getting off the airplane (besides drinks and other groceries). Bring a mini bar bottle refilled with soy sauce. Zap 30-60 secs in a microwave oven, wrapped in a slightly damp paper towel. You can't have a cheaper, tastier, faster breakfast.

I still have lots of family on Oahu, Kawai and the Big Island, but we are all old folks now, although my sisters and I went to Oahu a few years ago to take our mom's ashes to put with our dad's in the Punchbowl, at the National Memorial Cemetery. It was good to see our cousins again. We had malasadas, (and all of the other good stuff), drove around the island, Visited what was left of Eva Plantation where our mom grew up, and went to visit our childhood home that our dad designed and built in Palolo Valley. It was a nice, meaningful visit! Thank you for your video!

We also get the sandwich and Caesar salad combo too! Super easy and quick meal!! Since you mentioned Honolulu Cookie company wasn’t on your recommendation list, have you tried the cookies from Big Island Candies? They’re really good but just a bit more expensive. And the Hawaii Kai one is good to explore since it's less busy and when we did this video, I didn't realize how much Hawaii stuff we have. Did you know that here on the mainland that Costco stores also differ on things they sell? I can’t say it’s as vastly different, but they do cater to their location to a degree. Yes there are a TON of Hawai’i things…if only we had stomach space for it all and unlimited checked bags with the airlines!! 🤣 We have had Cookie Corner and Diamond Bakery brand cookies too and enjoyed them. Tip for you for a video…did you know that Diamond Bakery opened a storefront there in Honolulu? It just opened at 756 Moowaa St. Honolulu, HI 96819 last month. They have exclusive items that can only be found in the store. Also another video idea bc we loved the shave ice places you’ve shared so far, in Honolulu they just opened up Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice. It’s the first one in O’ahu since it’s primarily in Maui.
