Can I do the same setup minus the Joe empire on a nano rig instead of a nano plus?

You probably could, hit up chris@runwayaudio.com to talk about pedalboard setups!

Your tone is so good. Is your squier cv all stock?
@RunwayAudio4 жыл бұрын
I actually changed the pickups to a Lollar Low-Wind Humbucker in the neck and a Lollar Vintage Tele Bridge pickup. The Squier teles sound so great and I loved getting to customize it.

Runway Audio: yeah...so good. I also have a squier tele. I have joe barden pickups I mine. But I sure like the Lollars.

Just one cable from the power supply to the stomp? But isn't the highest current from the cs6 500ma? So dont you need to double the two 500ma ones for the stomp?
@zionlee45944 жыл бұрын
cs6 is switchable, meaning the port draws the current it needs. it just cant exceed 1600ma (cs6 max output)

HX Stomp has a current draw of 3A and the CS 6 offers a max 500mA at best on two of its outputs. Can you explain more precisely how do you power the HX STomp with the CS6 ? Which output do you use ? Which cable ? Thank you.
@daveschorrtube3 жыл бұрын
HX Stomp only draws 0.8 A.
@legalize.brokkoli4 жыл бұрын
Stomp needs 1A, the PSU provides max 500mA max from one output but you claim you don't need a current doubler. What am i missing here?
@pepvaldez4 жыл бұрын
Trying to figure this out too!
@mantharents4 жыл бұрын
The amperage on the one spot is spread out across all the outputs. Even though the amps are marked on each individual output, you can draw 1a from one output and still have the remainder available to use on the other outputs. I use one with an RP1000 (1.5a) and can still power my Drop, tender octaver and shure wireless receiver pedals. I replaced the RP with the hx stomp for a bit and it worked flawlessly in my rig.

@@mantharents ok, that makes sort of sense. But are the outputs still isolated?

How do you handle midi clock
@RunwayAudio5 жыл бұрын
I'm not actually using the clock on my rig! I use the the tap tempo on the HX Stomp and am only using the MorninStar to control the blocks.

This board costs more than a Helix LT, though. Even with just adding the MC6 you're near LT territory in price. The Stomp I feel serves well on larger boards, but the mini boards to me don't make a whole lot of sense. Just me, though. To each their own.
@mastermachetier55945 жыл бұрын
Braden Micona I have a similar setup and I went with the stomp because I had two pedals I wanted to use in the FXloop the volante and a overdrive. I thought about the LT but having something where I have to mount the LT to and the pedal would be a pain and huge
@RunwayAudio5 жыл бұрын
The purpose of the Stomp rig is mainly just for the portability of it! The Helix LT is absolutely killer though. Can't go wrong there!

sweet composition! and I really enjoy your tutorial style. would you guys be able to tell me how to activate more than one pedal at once (like, 3 or 4) with a single switch on the morningstar mc-6? for example, the hx stomp, plus a strymon, plus something else - all activated/deactivated simultaneously with a single assignment. thanks! peace
