for everyone who wants to know how to get pops it’s the same for mk5-mk6 all u have to do is be around 4-5k rpms and have 93 in your tank, once your at 4-5k just let go of your throttle and push it in a tiny bit till you hear pops,

i just installed my stage one ecu ie tune on my mk6 and i wanted to know it putting in 93 makes the pops louder bc currently i’m on 89 and the pops r there just not loud, i have a straight pipe from the cat back as well

Yeah I’d switch to the 91/93 map and use 93 octane. Feather the throttle on decel as well and it will pop way more.

So you got the stage one ecu ie tune and you didn’t need to get anything to go with it? Like the stage 2 prefers you have the intake manifold to go with it, lmkkk because I really want to get the stage 1 thne

@@igoatifiedap4516 you can run the stage 1 at stock just need the tcu tune if youre auto. I would recommend an SRI or CAI and exhaust just for shits a nd giggles tho

A tune is requisite. Put a wot box on my buddy’s mk6 and rev hang totally ruined it for him. He can no lift shift but it still rev hangs 🤷‍♂️, two step also sounds very funky. Him and I have similar exhausts and both have wot boxes, that’s how I know.

Since I have an automatic, I can technically move around while the “clutch” or the “switch” (in my case) is turned on. It’s almost the equivalent of turning on the global rev limiter and just hitting it while moving. Any other questions or concerns feel free to ask 🙏🏻 thanks

Yes it will hit the 2 step and like hesitate and then do a big flame while driving idk how to explain it but yes it will work if you use the global rev limiter with wotbox.
