Can’t wait to see the video of you taken it for a spin Fran, gonna be sick. I was wondering when you were gonna put that beautiful body to work. I really like the direction the channel is going. Still have great reviews as always and doing really cool builds and show best components for what application. Thanks and hand shakes to each and everyone of you at Rc Review. I’d like to pay Neil to build me a sick LCG, I could do it myself but I do like getting my hands on other people’s builds because obviously they build different then I do.

We are going very cheap and very expensive. Very complex builds and the simplest plug and play. Then we'll go into fast cars and other rc's. Really want to bring RC to more people

Let me know if you want to get rid of the micro-X! :) Thanks for showing the parts and everything. I've bought a bunch of parts, including a few servos that run directly off battery (3Brothers and Holmes), so no need for a bulky BEC. Contemplating between building a rail based thing with components gathered here and there (gspeed, brazin, STH rails, I'm still contemplating) or choose a Capra. I got the Holmes team spec stubby 2700kv as well, still gathering parts and taking it easy on deciding what to build. Also mostly on 3s, so a micro X would work for me. They've been out of stock however. I like the Capra width for stability, but it also has its disadvantages.

Awesome rig! Can't wait to see it run! What is the advantage of running your shocks inverted? Thx for all your great vids and support in the hobby guys. 👍👍 Keep the greasy side down ✌🙃
@RCReviewChannel4 жыл бұрын
Inverting the shocks keeps the shocks pistons in oil, no matter the oil level. So more consistent performance. There's a CG and appearance effect but negligible really.

I am currently also planning a G-speed build and trying to decide whether to base it on the SCX10-2 builders kit or the Element Enduro kit. I keep hearing that the Element has one of the best transmissions out there but not sure if the axial axles are much better. I know you went with the SCX10 because it's what you had laying around but if you had to pick a kit to buy which one would you go with?

Is there an specific reason why choosing the front motor mount and transfer case over the tgh2.low??? I’m building a rig with ar45 axles and lay down servo mount just trying to figure about which transmission better suits my build. Using a power wagon body simple no interior or anything special just a good performer. Thanks. And great video

well done video and audio (appreciate the lack of profanities in the audio track). I am unable to care any less about belly draggers ... I just do not see the allure. That being said, the best RC is the one that puts a smile on your face. if belly draggers put a smile on your face, then do it.
@stpbasss37734 жыл бұрын
I don't like them either it's kinda dumb unless you just climb steep inclines all day. But to each their own. Seem to do similar builds every time lately, belly dragger power wagon and I've seen hundreds on Instagram and KZbin.

4S for the Holmes Puller Pro... yes. The key is the ESC needs to be able to handle it. Castle Mamba X is a common choice for that.

The description doesn't say where you got the big bores and mini t springs and you should so a video on how they are setup
I'd like to thank Francis for all he's done for the RC community. Also Neil as you can clearly see his passion for RC. Video and list of parts is great. However I feel the video is missing Francis or Neil explaining why the parts were selected. Yes we know it's for a low center gravity build. Why a 10T pinion and not 11T for the motor? Why a 56T 32P Spur Gear? Why brushless over brush? Why a 2700kv motor? Why Traxxas Yokes and half shafts? If you tune in to my channel of lets say PB&J sandwiches. I tell you hey look this is the ultimate PB&J sandwich and I run down the brands and where to get it. But I don't explain WHY I went with those brands and how it influenced me. Missing parts shown/not: Body GSPEED Chassis G-LD LayDown cms servo mount - gspeedchassis.com/collections/tgh-v3-products/products/gspeed-chassis-g-ld-laydown-cms-servo-mount Shown however I am not sure if this will work with the Servo/Mount combo. Seeing that the TGH-HH Forward Motor Mount and Transfer Case are being used. Samix SCX10 III Brass Differential Cover (Black) - www.amainhobbies.com/samix-scx10-iii-brass-differential-cover-black-samscx3-4075/p1220630 Portal Covers Shocks - Guessing they're off of the SCX10 3? Driveshafts - I don't see'em so I'm guessing y'all have not yet decided?

Why does nobody offer a LCG kit on their website - all you have to do is go through the options provided and choose your COMPLETE LCG build. Its 2022, ffs. Doing this in a YT video like this is awesome, but it does zero to help me overcome the inertia of having to now go and sample all of these parts from different places, and then waiting for and paying for 50 things to arrive by mail.
