The guy with the M645 had the best photos, but he also had the easiest camera. The guy with the RB struggled the most because it was the most user unfriendly camera.

I love my 330. Been shooting 220/330 for decades. The 330 is an elephant of a camera. Perhaps that is why this camera instils a sense of faith and reliability in me that I get from no other camera.

Great shoot, great model, and an excellent trio of cameras and photographers! I've been a Mamiya fan since my Dad brought his RB67 home from work for me to try back in the early '80s! These three here are my favorites. For some reason, I can't hang on to the C3/330s that I've owned. Sold a C3 to fund another camera, then bought a C330 later, only to give it to a young photographer who really needed a 120 camera. Just ordered another C3. Not selling this one, I swear! I love my 645 Super, but the RB is my favorite. Glad to see it being shot handheld, as nature intended! 😂

My personal favorite is the very last photo shown at the end of the video after the ending credits. It is a head & shoulders close-up of the model surrounded by the three photographers who are capturing her image with their cameras.

Great video! I have the Mamiya C330 and from what I can see in the video, the RB and 645 both look more vivid and sharper than the C330. All are capable cameras. The 645 is a great looking camera and can make sharp images, unless there is a need to go larger in printing, the 645 and C330 is great.

I'm a landscape photographer that often travels through mountains and forests by foot. 645 is my ideal choice because it's very light for a medium format camera and doesn't weighing me down. It also has more shots per 120 roll, compared to the 6x7, so pretty economical.

Is it me or was there a bit struggle with focusing with the pressure of time? lol L2, L6, J2, J4, B2, B6= Both B2/B6 were pretty damn good.

@terrycullinane94373 жыл бұрын
All you guys need to invest in a grip for your cameras! A Mamiya left hand L grip for the RB67 & C330 & I think Mamiya made a power grip for the 645 Pro.....a grip on these larger cameras improves the ergonomics considerably. Also the owner of the RB67 should invest in one of the newer film backs which were made for the RB67 ProS, which have a double exposure prevention mechanism built into them.

Not a fan of the five minute time limit for medium format film cameras but interesting none the less. I own the 645 1000S and it *is* easy to operate and I think it compares favorably to the other two cameras.

what lens was used on the rb67?
@Narsuitus3 жыл бұрын
I have used the Mamiya 220 TLR and the RB67 SLR but I have never used the Mamiya 645. I used the 55/80/180 lenses with my Mamiya 220 and 50/90/180 lenses with the RB67. The Mamiya 220 produces twelve 6x6cm images on one roll of 120 film. The RB67 produces ten 6x7cm images on one roll of 120 film. However, since I carry more than one film back, I can easily capture 20 6x7cm images in 5 minutes.

cool video, especially cause I am looking for a C330 and a 645 a the moment, I have a RB67 and a C33 at home...I got the feeling the 645 is simply easier to handle, the shots seemed sharper, with the RB You struggle with the weight and forget things or get hasty, I think it was visible in the video (the double exposures etc), at least a strap would be necessary, to have a better balance. The 645 is also not a lightweight but much more compact, the C330 is probably much like the C33 in handling it, but also more compact, better to handle then the RB. But...5 Minutes for a Roll of Film...thats tough...they should make this again but without a clock ticking.

the shot from the TLR had me, quality over quantity. BUT feel ya when tht accidental dbl exposed happen on the rb67. U keep forgetting to advance the film always.

First guy, Luc was so much better than the other two. Cutting the background in two (e.g. light and wall) above her head is not the way to take a portrait.
