I've been in the lab COOKING up some sick romhacks and today its time to enter the matrix to see what's it like to live as a computer, and to make it a little challenging I took my lowest ranked duelists in the game AND remove the starter deck which has a lot of really solid staples. 17:52 That's not a bug. Monsters with ? Atk aren't searchable by cards like Sangan, because they're value is undefined.

Monsters with a question mark for the attack points have unspecified attack. They can’t be searched by cards like sangan that need to have attack points at a certain value. That’s not a bug.

@CxR: He was just confused because on how the modern card are written, this one card in the slifer the sky dragon deck that says specificly you can't target ? mark attack and they did not put the text in parantecies meaning it is not truth if the text is not present, but that is wrong, they should have put the parantecies with the text you can't target ? mark attack so that way it would be clear that even if that text is not their it remain truth. The only way to search for ? mark attack if the card says to search for ? mark attack

The pixel art for all the decks is beautiful. Makes me wish they were starter/structure decks so there would be plenty of variation that you can make your own.

I know this sounds generic but I wonder what would happen if the AI have more optimal deck. Maybe switch 6 "bad" card out for 6 better card that would boost the AI. Great video, I love your content and i hope to see more.

it's intentional that you can't search king of the skull servants with sangan/tomato since it has "?" atk. ? doesn't count as 0, it counts as it's own thing, hence not a bug. hope that helps to clarify.

You can't search King of the Skull Servants with Sangan or Mystic Tomato because it has ? attack rather than 0. Loved the cursed art at the end btw lol. Is there a already existing/way to mod the campaign NPC decks to give them the most streamlined + difficult version of their own strategies? You know, just a difficulty hack. It looks like a lot of the CPU decks from your tier list video have bricks and bad cards that could just be swapped out for additional copies of cards already existing in their own decks that would make them overall much better.

Man, thank you so much for working on this. As a lazy player who loves ygo, I just wish there was a hack or even a save state with all the opponents unlocked, but the fact that even more can be done makes me really hopeful about the other possibilities.

One thing I noticed too is that the ai has a lot of trouble dealing with spirit reaper. There were so many times when the opponent had multiple monsters on board and d.d. warrior lady to clear the reaper and win. But the ai never attacked with d.d. warrior lady

I wish there was a way to hack the games to make the decks better. Whether by swapping out cards or just editing effects/stats to make less good cards better. That'd probably be a pain to code though. Great video! Keep up the good work!

Dude this game was my shit growing up as a kid, I have such fond memories of stalling out and decking out Skull Servant for easy bp because my ass was patient with just set and pass and just praying to god he didn't get stealth bird on the field, not to mention all the card packs you got to open and enjoy as you were like ' oh dude, I wonder if this unlocks any challanges! ' and scrolling through it several times. Thanks for bringing this up in my old memories. It's because of this game I own a zombie madness deck irl and will never stop loving vampires.
