No, here me out, warden helmet. 2 “warden horns” and netherite (yes, required 3 netherite ingots). Crafting recipe is liek a normal helmet but the corners, instead of ore, are the horns. Warden helmet will give you 3 added armor bars, and night vision. It would be the best armor piece in the game. Like this comment so more people can see. You are aloud to copy and paste as well so mojang can see.

If you really want something that doesn't have a lot of uses, try diamonds. If you put just a bit of effort into a decent tool smith, armor smith, and weapon smith villager, you never actually need to craft diamond gear, and netherite has replaced diamond blocks as the flexing block/beacon base, meaning the only uses left for diamonds are enchanting tables and jukeboxes, and you don't really tend to need very many of those.
