A few things I recommend pointing out: Unlike rideable Pals, gliders do not benefit from speed passives like Swift. Only ranking up their Partner skill with the condenser makes them faster. Galeclaw is insanely fast, when fully upgraded. However, it's combat ability is rather lackluster, so i find it's better to breed for buff passives like Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist. This way it acts like an upgradeable piece of equipment, making you stronger, while making you faster as well. Catching them can be a pain at the level they become available, as they tend to spawn in groups if 2-4, and can quickly overwhelm you. Night captures are easier, but beware of nocturnal spawns like Katress and Helzepher who can be rather powerful at that level. I recommend just breeding for Galeclaw anyway.

Pretty much everything on there is very good information, some of which I didn’t even know about! (It being faster when condensed for example). I will say from personal experience I’ve found a lot of galeclaws in groups of 1-2, but breeding a rushoar with caprity or breeding rooby with mozzarina is very easy to do too

One of the best benefits of Ragnahawk over Faleris is Ragnahawk being small enough to traverse dungeons without having to dismount to get through certain paths. Plus it changing your damage to Fire also helps in the lategame ice dungeons.

Ragnahawks ability is nice for sure, and even I used it in the frostallion fight, but I just use fenglope for dungeons

For the grappling gun thing I forgot to mention the same tier of grappling guns sort of share the same cooldown time, so to effectively grapple chain, you will need to have different tiers of grapple guns. I am not sure if it is fixed in an update or anything tho.

In the video I was using the best and worst tier at the same time, I think the variance in their ranges made it really difficult. Maybe should use tiers that are one apart

Eikthyrdeer is a better mount than Direhowl in the early game, as it's charge ability makes for extremely fast movement. You sprint with it while the charge is on cooldown, and once the charge is off cooldown, you activate it and immediately release your sprint button so you regain stamina while having the charge with sprint speed boost applied. It also has a double jump. Rayhound is also a very good late game mount, I've found while Rayhound doesn't have the charge ability, it's a lot less floaty than Fenglope, which gives you a little bit more consistency when moving around with it.

Also yeah Rayhound is pretty fast, I prefer the vertical component to movement that fenglope offers and the dash though, and he’s easier to get

Univolt I believe has a faster ground speed by default. but the Sprint attack for Eikthyrdeer isn't a hard ability to manage for mobility, meaning the fact Eikthyrdeer has the double jump makes it also superior to Univolt.@@JasesAce

I can understand that, I haven't tested Fenglope a whole lot, but I believe Rayhound also has the advantage of it's general combat ability being better than Fenglope. Meaning at the cost of slight verticality and a dash move, Rayhound is the better pick overall. But that's starting to get into personal opinion territory. In one of my games all I have is a (runner/sprinter/nimble/Ferocious) Rayhound, a Beakon with (Runner/Sprinter/musclehead/Lucky)And then 3 Sparkit (no specific abilities yet). with this combo Rayhound just claps everything. Beakon being the backup combatant. @@JasesAce

@@11thDC that adds up, I’m far more a “player attack” guy (my most recent video gives a great example of how I play this game) but I definitely see the merit in what you’re describing. I plan to get into pal combat soon as I’ve basically peaked on the player strength scale the game has to offer. Will look into this! And yeah it’s personal opinion, both are great choices. That’s interesting… does that only work on direhowls dash? I know fenglopes dash is significantly slowed down if encumbered

@@JasesAce anny dash attack and when oyu breed attacks you could breed dash attacks to any riding mount - ut i use dire because it is small as well

@@JasesAce never used that attack outside of overloaded - but it just dashes forward fast - just take one of your direhowls and use their attack overloaded and see it yourself

Rag a hawk is great for dungeons since he is one of the only mounts that can squeeze through all the dungeon doorways

What button to go into slide mode on Xbox please?Thx for the tips, Ive just hit lvl 44 and can say that the food bag changed my life from being constantly harrassed about feeding.The first ,small sized one ,is totally sufficient,no need to upgrade afterwards, the grappling gun however really benefits from the upgrades,I would even wait as it’s somewhat costly and the distance offered by the 1st one is really pretty limited...

It’s C on PC. Press while sprinting and hold to continue the slide for its full duration

@@yao5921 from my searching it seems that L3 is the sprint key so that is good to hold down, and if you hold circle or B (depending on ps4 vs console) while sprinting or while falling to the ground you’ll go into a slide
