Moses is so intelligent. When he talks about the equipment and umbilical cord and holding back from asking too many questions… you can tell how smart he is and his urge to learn. It’s a good balance between these two. Not saying Trisha is not smart, but what she doesn’t know, he teaches her ❤

@@iamreborn3463 Yes, you're right. I have a traumatic brain injury that causes seizures. Basically, I'm home bound. I can't drive, go up or down stairs, ladders, hills or such. I also have an autoimmune disease that's killing me slowly but makes me sick and constantly exhausted. Taking a shower is like running a marathon, not that I've ever run a marathon, but what I imagine running one would feel like. Water touching my skin actually burns it, leaves marks. I used to be a mermaid at a resort in Hawaii, obviously that's out of my life. So is mountain climbing..volcano climbing...basically everything except this damn computer. It's really odd, my shrink told me to prepare my self that my friends ad family would overly support me then they would be gone. I got extremely angry with her and wanted to fire her. However, she was the only shrink that actually mixed Eastern and Western medicians, so I stayed. Well, she was right. Chronic illness is bad enough, it's worse when you're alone. I would really like to die, to fling a rope over a rafter in the attic and swing but I don't have the balls to jump off that damn chair. I've tried so many times but I just can't do it. Honestly, I don't give a crap about hurting anyone, they gave zero fooks with their empty promises to help me clean and such so fook them. And when you're dead you're dead soooo what the fook ever. So, yep you're 100% correct my life is bleak. Thanks for asking.

OMG! Trisha! You are becoming the food video queen. Great job! You can roast the corn in the oven. Brush corn with canola oil and generously salt and pepper them, bake on a parchment paper or foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes turning halfway through. You can make a large batch of cheese sauce. Put leftover in a container and refrigerate until ready to use. Warm up in microwave or saucepan, just add some milk to reconstitute. You can always make the chicken and reheat as well. Nearly all restaurant food is made ahead of time, refrigerated up to a few days and reheated at service. So you can always prepare and cook things in advance and spend less time cooking each night. So for instance, this dinner, the chicken, cheese sauce and guacamole ,corn, can be made in advance. Then, when you are ready to make a dinner, you reheat the chicken and cheese sauce, chop up the veggies and onions, dinner is ready in less than 30 minutes. You can cook for several meals at once, one day, then have 3 or 4 days or partially prepped meals ready to go. You should try making Moses that Mexican street corn. It's easy.

the butter flour mixture you used to make your cheese sauce is called a roux. heat pan to medium high. you first want to melt your butter all the way. then add the flour. use a whisk and constantly whisk the flour into the butter for one minute. then you add your liquid. turn the heat up and bring it to a simmer. you want it to simmer until it thickens up. if it starts boiling, turn the heat down until it returns to a simmer. whisk occasionally as it starts thickening. once it’s the consistency you want, turn off the heat and then stir in the cheese. this helps prevent the cheese from hardening/separating. hope this helps!

Too early for this baby to be born . Let’s hope she waits until at-least 38 1/2 - 39 weeks to be induced . There is a reason the last month takes 18373739393737 days lolllll. It’s feels like longest wait ! I just rememberer, being so ready , and each time the second I through my hands up in the air and was convinced I would be pregnant FOREVER, Labour came . I think it’s our lesson of patience and surrender in parenting!
@Rachw01012 жыл бұрын
@@Laura-ny4up Why does America seem to induce so early anyways. In the UK you are only induced if you get to 41 weeks or there is complications. Seems very odd that they don't just allow baby to come when it's ready. I suspect it's because there's more money for the doctors 🤷🏻♀️
@Laura-ny4up2 жыл бұрын
@@Rachw0101 I want to be honest with you but also respectful because of my work . Where I can be brutally honest is , We have the one of worst maternal care programs . We must do sooooooooo much research and most people are not given the opportunity especially POC , which is the highest in Maternal, Paternal death rates . If you don’t have access OR JUST DONT WANT TO LEARN , one just goes with what their doctor says . Which is usually not even up ACOG guidelines. All parents should ask questions like “ what is your c-section rate AND WHY. What is your induction rate ? Ect ect . Unless you do the work or end up with a amazing OBGYN the induction rate here is over 50% and the c-section rate changes every year. And most are c-sections from unnecessary Medical interventions. I went 42 weeks with my second , and he was great . Because I was great and he was happy . People think OH 38 weeks babies “due” or 42 weeks YOU’RE LATE ! When actually late means post dates which is after 42 weeks . Normal birth isn’t the norm and it’s been highly capitalize on. And the American way of hurry hurry hurry. It’s so frustrating and sad .

@rachelveneziale61862 жыл бұрын
Trish hi!! I’m a chef and I’ve been watching your channel even throughout culinary school, what you’re making in the sauce is called a roux… Which is an equal amount in weight of fat and flour. It’s what thickens the sauce. I heat mine up by melting the butter then adding in the flour. Whisking the entire time. A lumpy roux will lead to a lumpy sauce.
@conniejohnsoncj87242 жыл бұрын
It’s a roux and you should start with equal parts butter and flour. General rule of thumb, 2 Tbsp butter and 2 Tbsp flour, melt butter, add flour and 3/4 cup milk and cheese to your liking!
