Ronnie I hope you get to talk with Vittorio - perhaps that bridge can be restored somehow, some day - a tale that's possible 'once in a while in America'.

Jesus man I was gona comment on how cool that compilation was, most real and complete gangster movie of all time! Then I read that ending I never saw coming about your son! I Wana say I live your pain as well, but not completely, I do more than completely understand! I too am separated from my son's mother, and despite his mother using him foe leverage, and the endless list of things I could mention, have no idea how someone can do that to another person ESPECIALLY your everything, your love, your child! I absolutely relate to that pain, and anger, and hurt, and frustration! My heart truly goes out to you my friend, and I pray your son will seek you out in time!

Ronnie Banerjee has made a precious tribute to Sergio Leone's film "Once Upon a Time in America". I always loved Leone's movies, for the attention to details, the alternating close-ups with long shots in his westerns, the use of silence before the duels, the collaboration with Ennio Morricone, which has led to important results in the relationship between music and images. The testimony and comments of the actors who worked in the film and the attention to detail makes this documentary a fundamental contribution to the memory of this film and a precious tribute to Sergio Leone's vision. The movie ends with an instrumental version of Paul McCartney's song, "Yesterday" and a moving comment, written by the author, that highlights his suffering for the loss of his son.

If Sergio had the whole vision, the costumes, the looks, how each scene played out, every emotion, and he acted every scene out for the actors, then why can't all the cast come togeather and give us sergios final version... Because they where witness to it all and acted it out, of course with the help of the likes of scorcese capola and other top directors.. Apparently there was 7-8 hours footage, Sergio wanted two 3.5-4 hour parts, half the movie has been compromised, If the whole OUTIA ain't put togeather that would be the greatest tragedy in history of cinema

A fine tribute to a great film! As a video editor myself, I like your choices of clips and stills and your editing, and really enjoyed your imaginative flights of fancy -- like the sequence of on-screen kisses for Jennifer Connelly. Well done! I was surprised and touched by your personal story, and tribute to Scott at the end. As a divorced dad who has gone through some tough patches, I feel your pain. Thanks for sharing!

Noodles, This is my Favourite film of all time. "MY FIRST TIME AND A LOUSY COPS PAYIN FOR IT" 🤣 Time is sparse now that I'm getting old, but Whenever I do have a spare 5 hours, this IS the film I watch. (I Had to get an Italian import to watch the full version) The way all of you young kids acted during the kids scenes was phenomenal, I wish there was more scenes of Noodles Max Moe & Deborah. Only Sergio Leone could make Poverty look so Beautiful. P.S What a Babe Deborah grew up to become 😍

Deep and detailed analysis of Sergio Leone's last work, about american gangsters, offshoots of the Mafia that emerged in the United States during the late nineteenth century. The film alternates contributions of Scott Tyger, James Woods and Scott Tiler Schuzman, the actor who played the young protagonist, and scenes of the movie. The documentary analyzes in detail the essence of the film and Sergio Leone's vision. The music of Ennio Morricone and the well-known song "Amapola", accompany both the scenes and the photos. A clever editing built with intelligence and good taste.
