I would like to see a video on some of the other gear you guys use. Like your rod holders, backpacks and such. Some of it looks really cool.

Sputnik weights lol ! great name for them !!! we first used them for surf casting over here in the North of England back in 1980 and the company that pioneered them was called" Breakaway Leads" of course because as you reel in the wire breaks away making it easy to reel in . Today many more weights / sinkers are based on the design but in Britain we call them Breakaway Leads !! great channel you got there by the way !!!!

You are absolutely right as trout fishing at California lakes has been horrible since beginning of the year... Too much rain made the water browny + dirty so trouts didn't bite...Location is the most important key but many guys come early even say before to complete for best spot... One more thing is water temperature... Too warm make fish tired and lack of oxygen... Where is this beach? I would trade the pomps for tuna as it's the best butter fish to eat.. Deep fried and dip to sweet + fish sauce so delicious even eat the bone and gills like chip... One day I will fly over and fish for the pomps... Beautiful beach in FL... and a wife love fishing.. That's a PLUS!!

Hey bro I love your channel I love fishing but one thing that bothers me when you're doing your intro when you're about to fish say hey I'm in Jacksonville Florida or hey I'm in St Louis Missouri or I'm in Maryland or wherever just give us a general idea where you're at you don't have to get specific but it is nice to know what city and state your at figured I'd throw my two cents in other than that man loves to show and your dad's awesome!

Great advice; all true and on point about how you could be doing everything right but if the fish aren’t there don’t get too frustrated. Find another spot. Went out yesterday for a few hours but it just wasn’t happening so we packed up and went and got lunch haha... Keep trying and enjoy the time you are out there even if you not catching 👍🎣 Loi in the background “I told you...” 😆
