Most Taycans are coming off their original warranty now and that's the main reason why used values have fallen off a cliff. Like you said there are too many unknowns with the Taycan and many owners got cold feet, and with interest rates going higher and higher, many lessee's are just handing them back to Porsche UK at the end of their leases. A pending facelift is also an issue for many potential buyers.

I would love to see something around warranty buyback/lemon branded title Taycans. I understand the implications of buying used, but there are a ton of branded title Taycans in the market, the dealerships seem to be trying to charge the same as a clean title Taycan. I would love to hear your input on a Taycan wearing a scarlet letter.

Just about to swap from a 14 month old 4S CT to a brand new GTS ST. The local dealer is literally bending over backwards to get me into a new car, I suspect the deal I’m getting won’t be around for long. The spec is almost identical to my 4S and getting into a GTS will bring an even bigger smile to my face! If you are interested in a new Taycan, now is the time to go and get a great deal.

I have been seriously considering one, coming from a performance Model S, and because Tesla cancelled my Plaid order (LHD is a deal breaker for me). However, your useful video has made my mind up that the Taycan is a no for me coming from a fully loaded model S - poor range combined with inferior charging network, inferior software and app, all the added subscription costs, higher warranty and insurance costs. Thanks for going through the various aspects from an owner perspective.

My dealer said the same about current production. They are also offering discounts on cars , which was unheard of. And from stock. High used stock as well. Secondhand prices are getting better (lower). Still the range that worries me. Face lift will probably see some improvements? But also depress prices further.
@TABonTV10 ай бұрын
I think prices will stay under pressure for some time. I wonder if they'll also tighten up new supply a bit to keep inventory balanced. The big problem here is the EV business tax breaks require a new car for the full benefit.

Good point on the battery. Are you referring to the 22kw AC upgrade or the DC 150kw option? I recommended against the 22kw if you're only ever AC charging at 7kw as it was a known point of failure. The 150kw 400v option is very country dependent...
