You need some actual warrior players to get feedback from, any warrior that says succession is better than awakening has been lobotomized especially Zeroden of all people. The control on awakening is much greater than that of succession and that extra DP passive is a joke. "Bigger DP number mean bigger tank" is not the case with warrior, there is just way more in the awakening kit as far as movement goes. Back attacks matter for good DPS and "Head Chase" (Shift + W/A/S/D) is too good to give up for getting behind enemies and anti-collision with its long dash. Playing succession you also throw away "Merciless" and "Overwhelm" which both have heavy modifiers, 5% Crit Damage and 10% Down Damage useful for places like City of the Dead. Adding the forward guard core skill to Frenzied Strikes is also huge for PvE as far as survivability, the animation and forward guard alone last 2 seconds while the skill has a 6 second cooldown perfect for chaining between damage combinations.

I think the issue with the tier list would be fixed it the class rankings were done in relation to each other instead of in a vacuum. If the maegu people think she is kinda average and give her a 7 and the Witch people think she's kinda average and give her a 6 then witch ends up below maegu even if she is better. So instead of number ranking classes should be ranked compared to other classes

I'm a very new player and I'm 3/4 way through the video and it has helped a lot to contextualize all of these characters. A lot of people are not really articulate enough to communicate both the usage and literal characteristics of the content they explain. I was kinda worried that I wouldn't have well adjusted people creating content for this game like with most grind games but your channel is cool.

Zackiskip is a goated Archer. He plays the class on a different level in PVE. Trying to play the class like he does, I would agree that its one of the hardest classes in the game. On another note, I wish they'd do something about pet damage. Its pretty clear that many classes are struggling at end game due to how pet damage doesn't work with the spot buffs.

I too like Limex have played Lahn since she was released. I agree w him, BRNY, and Chillers spot on about Lahn's Succession and Awakening. I've played Awakening and enjoyed it very much. I have tried the Succession many times and more so than I would imagine. Visually, her elegant succession has amazing aoes and high burst damage. I LOVE watching Lahn Succ players than me playing her myself.. I enjoy playing Succ but not as much as her Awakening since I have muscle memory grind on her awakening kit. Since Lahn's Awakening buffed, I had switch my style of playing w Awakening. I Love every one of her skills. Eradication and her Blood Moon Twist Skills has changed compared to 3-4 years ago. Eradication use to be a space bar which gave a very weird and uncomfortable feeling. Her Blood Moon Twist was changed to from a half low kick of sort to a down smash and knockback which has a long animation skill. Her Eradication Shift + F and her Shift + Q Binding Chain flows very smoothly and great for forward movements in her combo. I played half of all the classes (16) questline from all regions to the end LoML (Ulukita doesn't count since that is brand new) for my 77,777 quest title. The other half I'll have to rediscover the feeling of grinding on those classes again and aiming for my 100k quest title, "The World is Mine Now." Questing is one thing, but I did grind on all the classes. All are very enjoyable and all have their own good and bad perks. I enjoy all the classes unique combat abilities on both aspect, Succession and Awakening. I like Quendaya's pve information tier list.

I would have put Awk Drakania slightly higher in the early/mid game. She has good mobility and while her AOE might need to be a bit more precise than some other classes, it's big enough to hit full packs. Her biggest asset for early and midgame is the amount of AOE skills that she has with the pretty low cooldowns. If you gear/buff enough so that she can kill those packs with one skill you can pull decent results. She is going to deal less damage than a number of classes at the same gear score though. One of the hidden benefits of Awk Drakania is that I don't see that many people try to pvp/dfs me. The last time I got flagged on I accidentally nearly one shot him while moving between packs.

I think Awakening Witch is S tier in PvE and im willing to die on this hill. It is the best for Dark Rifts and Bosses, great in grinding, has great healing which helps in endgame grind spots and against all bosses, it is very mobile. I have been playing this game as Witch since NA started and haven't yet found a class to replace it because it overall has everything in her kit one would need in pretty much any scenario. May not be the fastest grinder but speed isn't everything, at least isn't for me and survivability is more important since you can't kill if you are dead after all

blue awakening sage definitely gets out performed by succ in the early to mid. Awakening is top tier for end game for sure tho.

As a Woosa player. I've noticed people really underestimate Awakening Woosa's power and somehow keep saying Awakening Woosa isn't as protected (Which doesn't make a lick of sense). I can agree that the cast time is Longer but the engage range is damn near 300% further. So in Areas that have Higher HP mobs, you can quite literally set up 3 attacks (Shift+RMB, Forward+RMB, Back+RMB) from the previous groups spots, Then start a 4th. All 4 will hit at nearly the same time. your mobility is pretty high too so you can essentially teleport directly to each group as your pre-set up attacks hit. I feel people play really mindless in BDO and only care about close-range speed because it takes fewer brain cells. But AwkWoosa literally can lay down massive Damage bombs with full guard/SA on every key skill. I use an awakening Sorc and grinding on her is horrible compared to my Awakening Woosa I've been playing Sorc since 2017. They share gear so it isn't a gear diff.

@@lockedbill4942 my man, i absolutely agree with you, its just the way the game is now, i dont really like it and im not very much into pvp and i hated getting ganked whenever i was in a big pvp guild, but that was the point of the game and getting geared up to protect yourself, when i didnt want pvp i could just ask for hero on a liofeskill guild to grind for a day and nowadays you can just marni and nobody bothers u. being a red player already sucks because you can break crystals/lightstones and gear downgrades if you mess up so thats already a big balance to being red but i still see some red players getting banned for "griefing" or "preventing gameplay to others" kind of shit which really sucks.

I'm giving BDO a second chance and am just done with succ/awakening quests for maegu (my first char). I heard there have been some recent, substantial, changes to the game. Is this still relevant? Asking because I'm not really feeling it with maegu and am looking for a new char to play with. I'm not a meta-chaser btw, I just wouldnìt like to end up with a subpar char.

I rerolled off of Tamer recently for the exact reason. She is good, I love her a lot, and she can spam in and out of danger. But my main issue was that after playing her for 3 years, I finally tire of other classes outshining me in PvE with less effort. In terms of PvP she was superior but now.... EVERYONE and their grandma it feels know Tamers kit and won't be baited by s or baited by dash grabs, instead, we have players who intentially bait a tamer into a dash grab to CC them. She's not as good as she use to be in PvP and at this point I see her as a free kill on my new classes I play when I fight one

Blue I have a question I hope you or anyone in the comments could give me advice. I play lahn awakening right now but I love maegu. I'm not sure which one of the 2 to main. So my question is which one of them is better. Should I main lahn or main maegu? I'd love some positive thoughts and feedback on which one I should main. Thanks

Hey man! Both are great classes and flanking assassins. Both are low apm but succ lahn is Lower. Awak Maegu is high apm/higher single target dmg. Both classes are melee assassins but lahn exploits flying while Maegu succession involves trickery with the clone. Awak Maegu is all about blinking behind the enemy. I recommend watching both my choose your class guides on them and choose which theme is cooler to you.

id agree with divios awaken striker is so hella fun you can shift right click in mid game awakening and just move every where super fast cooldown? what cooldown there's barely a cooldown with it unless there's some changes its supper fast for gathering the enemies and alot of aoe skills even shift left click can take you far but that's just me I'm a striker rider I'm currently also enjoying musah and dosa i don't know how i feel about it mainly because of how slow dosa is but I'm way to early to be saying anything also doesn't have awaken BUT i can say that the prime looks VERY promising i can say its the first time of me saying succession skills look good making me think i should try em out

im 279 332 awak hashashin and my bigger issue is that his main dps skills are standatory (like the helicopter skill SHIFT RMB) so running low dp like me, cant facetank mobs at sycraia for example

Just play archer, or sorc probably would do the trick too. No dp needed for those characters, maybe a few others, or on a particular spot too. Others do need some range of dp to grind without dying. I was grinding Murrowaks with your stats on the archer. Tryed to do the same on other classes and hash too - felt like a oneshot on skill cast :D

This fucking game, i cant be a tamer no more, so after watching this video i was excited ablut trying the witch, i know i was able to pick witch before, but poof gone with the tamer. The tamer and the witch both classes i wanted to choose for new character and i know ive seen both of them before when choosing , i was worthy of them at the end of January.
