I have owned 3 QKZ iems so far and all of them broke within a few weeks of usage. They sound great for the price but the straight jack made it break easily. I still find myself going back to KZs

Thanks for this review. I ended up buying the CK5 and the CK7, and I am a happy camper! While the CK7 has good bass response, I like the CK5 better as aside from strong bass, it has a warm and thick mid range. The CK5 is a tad cheaper at that - just a bit over $3.

I've had the KD7 for a over a year now and though they're not my most used earphones, they're definitely worth getting as they sound MUCH better than anyone should expect from a pair of earphones that cheap. Only the fit lets them down, as they just don't quite go in far enough. Definitely worth buying though.

I got mine a few months ago, and I was super surprised at the absence of bass -- it was like they were "bass removing earphones"! I found that when I applied a bit of pressure with my hands, the sound was fine including the bass; so, I'm agreeing with you about them not going in far enough. I switched to the smallest of the extra pads, and sound is improved, but at some expense of comfort. They now feel like something hard is squished in too deep (the extra tips are made of thin plasticy stuff while the default pads which are made of a heavier memory foam which is more comfortable).

it's alright overall. he's right about cymbals sounding a bit compress, bass is a bit less punchy than what i imagine but the overall tuning sounds right. you could follow and tell instruments and different sound for most music. it didn't feel weird tuning wise compared to the zsn pro that kinda hurts at higher volumes. it's good if you're looking for a not so exaggerated sound signature, but definitely not for bass heads

I have CK9, okie na naman na sa akin 'yong wire niya kasi mukhang hindi kaagad masisira kaso just in case lang na masira siya, balak ko bumili ng backup na with mic din, okie po ba 'yong CK7 in terms po sa wire and mic?? I just tried it. Technically yes, but the plastic plugs are too long so the cables go up too high before bending around your ears. They come out of the ZS3e at a different angle.

vk4 is a bit veiled but is laid back with emphasis on bass in terms of listening experience. while hibiscus is midcentric, with less boomy bass but certainly more detail and of course almost 4x the price.

@@ridhamh2966 I would suggest the Blon bl-03 though they have emphasis on bass, you just can't pass up the great tuning on that iem. As for sleeping with iems on, the pins might break inside the connector, so if that do happen you're gonna have a hard time removing the broken pin inside that tiny hole.
