I like that there is a lot to do. I'm not into PvP so I doubt I'll touch it, but a common complaint with WoW is that there are raids and there M+ and that's it. Now it is a bit iffy that spending 40€ for pre-purchase does not give a battle pass with battle pass being near 'mandatory' which is not a good look.

Easy solution: Don't pre-purchase and spend the money you would use on pre-purchase to buy multiple battle passes. The game is free after all.

i heard people saying that p2w is not an issue as the 'classes' are built around rock/paper/scissors and you always have a weakness be it lack of evasion, armor etc.

That, combined with their being a cap in power, eventually you get bis, and then you can prove your skills are bigger than their wallet. However, I don't know how long it will take to get bis for f2p users. It could be too long that people leave due to attrition.

It will be too long, if you dont have the proper active guild that does guild raids and World boss raids especially in pvp world bosses. Not to mention the Loot distribution in the guild needs to be properly organize.. When we played it in KR version we made a loot council about it and distribute it equally base on the members needs in order and also their participation or activity in the guild missions. But in our time, there are guild leaders who does favoritism.. and that is really sad to see. Especially if you are a streamer..

For my part I don't care much about the P2W aspect, but that's because my friends and me will be doing mostly PvE stuff so having the option to sell rare drops for premium currency (kind of like Warframe) is going to be a big plus for us, sux for PvP players tho.

im coming from diablo immortal recently which is great phone game and i cant wait for this theres a lot of mechanics with the gear and dungeons thats like it so i cant wait for that. whenever people complain about p2w , its honestly not even bad theres always fun f2p even in diablo immortal. all p2w does is pair you up with other p2w players so it really doesnt matter. Dont be scared to try a game cause you hear you p2w , a lot of times if ur f2p and shit on a player who spends money it feels even better.

If the auction house has to be paid a currency cap at max 1000 lucent say that you can put the gear on there for that yes you can be paid for the gear but it's not fucking mad money, I've watched Arch Boss going for 1000 USD is madness and that will drive away the player base so fast it's not even funny

My issue with these asian mmos isn't that it's more difficult to play them without spending money, but rather that they're fundamentally built on stress, fomo and whatnot. It's just so anti-MMO, which should be all about taking in the world, the lore and being allowed to play at your own pace without feeling punished. Throne and Liberty is far too gamified for me. I just don't see a world where it becomes a house-hold name and sticks around for a decade. For any other genre that isn't an issue, and shouldn't be expected, but for an MMO that's not good.

You can join random people for dungeons - people usually spam when they search for players in chat or you can use build in system to look for party via battleboard.

The thing with the P2W is always the same argument. Just don't buy it if you don't like it. If you want to be competitive, you need to pay a price. If you want to be at the top, you need to do things that top players do. The game needs money to get new content. Is some things greedy? Sure. Do you have to buy it? Hell no. So those ppl who keep complaining about P2W, stop. Either work more to have disposable income, or stop playing games if you can't afford it tbh. There are other things that are more important than being top 0.1% while you barely can afford food, or other life necessities.
