I’ve recently acquired the OG joker it has been a grail piece for me every sense it came out . The new one does look incredible as well but the fact that the OG one still looks just as good right next to the new one proves it’s one of Sideshows best . A timeless classic .

I own the new one but honestly prefer the O.G. Head sculpt. It’s basically Tim Sale vs Brain Bolland. If they revisited the OG with sculpted cloths it would be the ultimate Joker.

If I had to choose only one I think I would have to go with the new PF mainly because the OG is cloth and not fully sculpted, that plus I prefer the brighter colors on the new. So both the full sculpt and brighter colors puts the new PF slighlty above the OG for me. Still I would have to say I think I like the base and headsculpt on the OG the best. If only we could merge the two!

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one of these Jokers, if I had the OG I would not have purchased the new Joker PF because it would have been pointless. That is the one good thing about Sideshow remaking these characters, it gives new collectors a chance to own some really impressive works of art. (Although I still believe there are too many rehashes in Sideshow Library)

I think the OG is still better by a landmile to be honest. Just love that classic OG style! The new one is good as well though. Great video bud!

I realy like Daniel Bel but this Joker isn't my Joker BUT i'm glad you like it and have it in your collection :). Personaly i prefer the Tweeterhead Joker, i wish this style would influence the Premium Format Joker..

Overall I like the newer one more. I just wish there was a switch out for the crowbar to either like a knife, playing card, or even just an empty hand, as well as analternate portrait with a more regular hairdo rather than the very on the nose devil horns we got

The new one is much nicer, it’s an incredible statue, I think it’s the best Joker statue ever, it’s amazing. I wouldn’t change a single thing about it, I think it’s perfect, for me there’s no comparison between the two, anyone who says the original is better it’s just member berries.

Without a doubt, I think the new one is the better face sculpt and looks awesome however, for some reason, and I don’t know why but shaking hands with the left hand just bothers me lol

I think you should have showed the OG with its original hands/walking stick in order to make a proper comparison. Looking at the OG as it came from SS, I definitely like the new version better.

Both are great. But if the OG one was completely sculpted with no mixed media, that would be the one I’d go with.

I love all 4 SS Joker statues. My favorite is the Gotham City Nightmare Joker. He was slated at the time as a 1/5th scale piece but he’s actually the largest of the 4 SS Jokers. My 2nd favorite is Joker on pogo. I just wish he had more vibrant paint. Coming in 3rd would be the OG Joker. He has the best classic head sculpt out of the bunch. And coming in 4th is the new Joker. Four awesome SS Joker pieces and they all look great.

For me, the OG wins in every aspect other than the fabric. I MUCH prefer the fully sculpted suit of the new one. Fabric sucks.
