My favorite thing about ComicPop is that these guys feel like they’re always having that lightning-in-a-bottle friendly banter you remember fondly with your buddies. I'm just gonna say that for me as a kid, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends on Jetix was one of the most harmlessly fun shows I'd ever seen. Still holds a special place in my heart. I was devastated when they had the Inheritors kill them in a Spider-Verse tie in. But at least they made a reference in the new ATSV movie. A deep cut for us in the know😉

Funny enough, the manga My Hero Academia has a character who has phasing power, and they offer an explanation re: de-phasing; "If deactivated while the user is phasing through the ground or another solid object, they will be instantly repelled to the surface due to the laws of physics not allowing their own body mass to overlap with any other preexisting mass."

Okay, so. I have to interject at 21:44... since Iceman is an Omega-level mutant (not my fault, but just sayin') and his powers are ice ~control~ isn't it possible that he's making the ice bridge hover while he's near it? He can conjure, shape and throw ice basically psychically, as I understand it. Probably he's not even realizing that's what he's doing, given what Emma Frost has said. Bobby's just "Ooh I want to be that guy who slides down ice bridges!" I guess it's up to one's imagination whether the bridge kind of collapses and falls after he stops paying attention to a part of it, or (one hopes) he's learned to dissociate the bits of the ice bridge after he's skated past them so that they don't become a potentially deadly hazard to people underneath them.

I always figured Kitty's phasing worked kind of like Johnny's flying. When she becomes 'intangible', it's just her altering her own atoms to allow her to pass through solid objects. So when she goes through a floor or wall, she propels her atoms through whatever it happens to be. She might actually be able to 'fly' if she trained her powers further.
