This balloon head is misleading about bop on ps3, it's better than war thunder (and birds of steel), he didn' bother to finish the flying tutorial, he was playing on a mode literally called arcade which has no physics and speed realism, theres realistic and simulator, i prefer realistic because of the manual trim (unlike wt i think) on sim. There's literally no better flight sim, except maybe dcs and equal to war thunder. The real problem for someone starting out on ps3 is the lack of online players, which is the only way to get achievements for unlocking better planes. (Online multiplayer) btw bop literally has better graphics and controls than birds of steel.

I chuckled when you said the fire extinguishers for the harrier is useless. Fire extinguishers really do just suck unless you get really lucky and manage to survive, preferably in something that has a second engine. I can never rely on it for anything. I do have to admit that in the rare case that it does actually save you, it is nice. though.

A lot of propeller planes had either off-centre tails or engines, this was due to the wind being forced to go around the plane in a loop and would hit the tail causing a drift, to counter this you would make the tail or engine off-centre so the wind generated by the engine would hit it and would force the plane to be centred, early models that didn't have this off-centred tail would turn the rudder to 10-15 degrees during takeoff to stop them from drifting.

The Pucará was an amazing COIN aircraft, it did exceptionally well against the communist insurgency in Argentina, and it saw action in the war with the brittish, where it was a capable CAS, and even shot down a helicopter. It was of course no match for the harrier, but none the less it did it´s job. It also saw action in the Sri lankan civil war, and Colombian drug wars. The Pucará was very hard to maintain and to modernize, because they where all made in an artesanal way. Meaning no plane was the same as the other, and spare parts that fit in one plane, didn´t fit in another. Still Argentina is creating the Pucará Fenix, which is a modernized version with scout capabilities and improved engines.
