Ahh when chevy trucks used to be made in America. Love the overall and make over on that truck brother. I had the exact same yr and model. Had it tricked out to the max. that's awesome Robert.. i just got a car going here about a month ago.. it sat for almost 20 years,.yep since 2003. all it was was a lawn ornament. numerous times the car crusher guys stopped and said they would buy it from me.. they offered me 50.00 bucks for it.. i said nah many a time. So i got tired of them asking to buy it,..soi put it in the air, and got to work...I replaced fuel pump, Fuel tank, fixed wiring, repaired all fuel lines, re-did transmission, re-did interior, changed all the bulbs, put new windshield in, replaces water squirters, wiper arms, and wipers.. even got new tires for it. I do need to put the new brakes and struts and hell it will be like yours,.. brand new used. Neighbors were pretty impressed that it was running after it sat that long. I said before i became an architect designer engineer i was a auto mechanic.. really they said? i said yep!! graduated with high honors from tech school. So proud to see old brought back to life instead of selling to crushers and salvage yards as scrap. be safe have fun it is what life is about.

You should come check out the Stonington/Mystic Connecticut area. Launching out of barn island. Such a beautiful place to launch. There’s a bunch of paths you can walk down to sight see all the marshes. Sometimes you’ll see people riding their horses down there! In terms of fishing… my favorite thing to do. There’s trophy stripers down here despite me catching one yet but a bunch of slot size. We also have Tautog (blackfish), Flounder (fluke), Black Sea Bass, a bunch of Scup (porgy) and mackerel. I’d love to see you fish down here and maybe even go with! Biggest inspiration ever!!! You rock!

Leave it white! Best color for hot southern summers. Imparts a commercial/utility vibe that has less interest for a lot of thieves and vandals. Somehow always looks almost new again after a quick wash. White gets a bad rap for being boring, but it has so many benefits, too.

What's up happy people! That looks just like my first duramax, an 04, the square headlights give it away, Robert! I would have never have left a duramax on the side of the driveway, I would have sold it, they are too valuable as I am sure you know. But now she's looking mighty fine, love the aluminum bed, not sure what a wrap costs. I would not spend any more money on appearance, keep it for a injector replacement in case that happens. My 04 had a 2 inch exhaust, a chip and no catalytic and was scary fast, would get 22 mpg on the highway if I stayed at 55....but I never did :) TAKE CARE GOD BLESS WE GONE.

Id love to do it to a boat, but I know nothing about boats, Ive never even been on a boat to fish. But I am considering this adventure in the next few years, i just need to do some research and find a boat that will work for my wife and myself. Rob even though you don't like the name it's good to see the beast back on the road and on the ranch running brother. Plus you would be surprised how much better some older trucks run than the newer ones. Heck my daily driver is a 1951 Ford pickup lol. And I'd put it up against anyone of the new trucks out there today. We call her the warhorse. As long as you take good care of them, they will take care of you. Did a complete restoration on her a few years ago on the whole truck. And it still came out much cheaper than going out and buying a new truck. As for the Samurai I had one for years and I couldn't kill that vehicle. The body ended up rusting out before the engine. A friend took the engine to replace the one in his and that engine ran for another 8 years in his Samurai lol. Can't get more proof than that that if you take care of your vehicle's they will take care of you brother. Another great video as always Rob. Keep them coming and God bless you Sarah the girls and your family and crew brother.
