Such a SUPERB showing of all of those dishes! How can a person choose just 1 of many offerings that you both presented in this review? All of those dishes looked so Onolicious! You know that culinary presentations are important because we eat with our eyes first, then if the food meets the visual expectations, then BANG, we have a winner! What wonderful content again! Oh Dear! You visit one of the oldest pubs in Britain, then drink lager! Lager comes from Europe! We English drink beer, or more precisely, ale! Served at "room temperature", where the "room" is whereever the beer is stored, primarily the cellar, (or in a very old pub, the tap room!) next time, try asking for "a pint of bitter". That's a real English beer!

"Melting pot" is a very American specific term. Countries outside of America like to keep their motherland cultures intact to an extent and are more of a salad bowl. Giving up your culture to be "American first" as a melting pot of cultures doesn't really exist outside of America.
