Amazed by the extremes of climate you get. So hot and dry when you were harvesting grain, just a few months ago; and now you have inches of snow. Here in the southern UK we are 550 niles north of your latitude (we are roughly level with Calgary, Alberta), but haven't seen that much snow for decades; most winters we don't see any. That's due to the lower altitude, and the moderating effect of the sea temperature.

Yeah we can hit 100° in July and August and then by January we have had over a foot of snow. I just got back from the mountains where we had 3 feet. Just this morning it snowed 4 inches.
