Carlos get yourself an Oneida Pro Top cyclone lid for a 5 gal bucket. Put it between your miter saw and the shop vac. You won’t have to clean its filter very often. These Pro Tops are a fantastic 2 stage cyclone dust collection solution for smaller stationary tools. Taipan Woodworks

Hey @tomowens2720 , thank you for the advise, I was looking at some Home Depot toppers for the 5 gallon buckets, but I have not pulled the trigger yet. I will check out the Oneida Pro Top and add one or the other down the road. Thank you! :)

I've seen a lot of different ways of making workbenches mobile around shops, everything from casters that clip on the side, to using small motorcycle jacks on wheels underneath, yours looks so brilliantly simple its elegant, and will probably be how I make my workbench mobile, so thanks.

Thank you Erika! I also hated the clip on side casters, hence I came up with that design. I will be making an in depth review for that mechanism in a later video to share it with everyone.

First time viewer and subscribed. I like your "Mr. Rogers" like set up at the entrance to your workshop. I'm setting up something similar. The level of organization is impressive. I noticed the blue tape before you explained it. My initial thought is that you could have put it at the ceiling but realized you have a lot of wall space and will likely fill it up eventually so the lower the tape the better. Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Thanks Ray!!! and great catch with the blue tape! It is almost as if you are reading my mind, I need to come up with further re-organization or clean up where I use more wall space. I do like the tapes visible at eye level, but I like your suggestion of having them higher up closer to the ceiling. I think I will add a redundant tape at the very top, this way if I add stuff in the wall and cover up the tapes I can still see where the studs are behind. Thanks again Ray.

Your shop is nicer than I expected it would be. You did a great job combining store bought tool boxes into the mix. How long have you been working on your shop I assume maybe 10 years.

Hey @th19845, you actually nailed it. Its been about 10 years. I have not always been in this garage, I used to live in different cities due to work and I have finally decided to settled in here. I might post the process that let me to this garage/setup. Thank you for your comment.

Very nice shop design and layout. Curious if you can add a link to where you found the aluminum fence caps and that cool fume extractor. Cheers.

I enjoyed your video, thanks for making it. One question for you as I am developing my shop: I noticed that you did a projects through Shop nation, so you’re likely familiar with his outfit table to where he placed his router left in the table. I have built the table, but have not added the router lift to it yet. I’m debating between that and, the system that you have which adds it to the table saw. With your experience of having it in the table saw, do you have any regrets or do you think that it’s a better system than having it in the assembly table? Thanks for your input.

Hey @generalsworkshop, I am familiar with the different outfeed workbench's from Travis from @shopnation, but I think that decision regarding the router lift placement will depend on you shop layout and floor space itself. I can tell you my case, I do not regret having the router table as one of my wings for the table saw. However, I only like that because I save on floor space. That is what I have for now, but for the use of the router table I personally think it is 100% much better to have it as a stand-alone dedicated router table. I feel I will use it more often this way. This is just my opinion, I hope it helps with making a more informative decision. :)
