Oh you have not seen some of the other cabins on this same cruise. They are packed with everything in a standard room. They are gone basically for a year, multiple climate changes, 2 people so unless you buy items in Port, or ship things home, it will be tight. I can do minimalist packing for a week or 2 but a year, they may as well make themselves comfortable.

Good for you! You've obviously done very well in life to be able to afford a second bedroom just to use as walk-in closet on the cruise. I know that ocean view rooms start at $130,000 for double occupancy (Plus taxes fees and gratuities). Paying close to that amount for a walk-in closet is it real baller move.

This cabin was actually about $10,000 than the balcony category. I gave up the balcony since I don’t use it much in exchange for a much bigger space. They don’t usually allow just 2 people to book it, has to be 4-6. But it was available to book for anyone just on the first day and I snatched it! I got lucky…

What do you do for your laundry? Are there facilities onboard? Or do you have to pay?

3 bags per week are included or you can use the laundromats they put in just for the full world cruisers. I prefer to do my own because they are very harsh on clothes!

Ha, ha…he actually got lucky, I let him have the regular closet that comes with the cabin. It’s against the wall where the bed is. Has lots of hanging space and shelves in it . But I can’t imagine fitting both our stuff in it 😅. Thanks!😊

I guess we want all the comforts of home as much as possible? There’s very few things I brought that I haven’t used. What’s great is we really have become a family over the last 2 years. We have a chat and trade and exchange stuff so whoever forgot something can have it!

If you're thinking about the tea kettle, Royal Caribbean actually provided these Ultimate Cruisers with it. I know it's against the rules for "normal" cruises...but apparently they thought they could trust these long haulers not to set fire to the ship. :)
