My question is why boggle our minds with such complicated equations we will never use out in the work place. Why do we need this for graduating from college I'm being serious. I watch all your videos I'm trying to learn it because I have to have it 😮

I agree with you that not everyone will need to use everything. It's currently impossible to tailor the educational system towards individual needs. So the structure right now is to give everyone some fundamental tool and those who will use it can use it. Those who cannot or will not, don't have to use it. It's not the best, but it's our option for now. If you want to get ahead you'll have to pass some tests. Whether you'll need it or not.

For short term memory to work you must use and reuse neural pathways. For long term memory to work over time you must live more closely with the short term memory you have learned. It is possible to pick and choose what you prefer to learn.

Yes they are, but the questions here are generally harder than a typical GED math question.

I went to high school in the 70s back then algebra was not a mandatory class. didn't have to take it I never had it.. I wish I did these videos help me a lot thank you

The quadratic formula is too lengthy for most cases. Shortcut factoring gives you the answer in a fraction of the time for the simple equations---and you can do them in your head. The harder ones can be solved by using the simplified complete the square method.

The answers for question 1 when using the quadratic formula both doesn't satisfy the given equation. where could I be going wrong with this?🧐The one with answers 5/2 or -1

For the 5/2 2 (5/2)^2 - 3(5/2) - 5 = 0 2 (25/4) - 15/2 - 5 = 0 25/2 - 15/2 - 5 =0 25 - 15 - 10 = 0 This is true For -1 2 (-1)^2 - 3(-1) - 5 = 0 2 x 1 + 3 - 5 = 0 2 + 3 - 5 = 0 This is also true the answers are correct. You might have to show me your solution, so I can tell you what you did wrong
