Watching the pitcher instead of the ball from release point is a mistake I got into as a catcher too. When guys stating throwing harder it was more difficult to catch until I refocused where my eyes picked up the ball.

Not a dr. but well versed in baseball and most injuries. Is it your bottom hand or top hand shoulder (while your hitting). you don't mention that or if you are right or left handed. I will guess that you're right handed and it's your left shoulder. Let me know if I'm correct and we can take it from there.
@WeirdThinking3 жыл бұрын
@@vmega44 yes coach, i am a right hitter and its my top shoulder and every time i swing with power it like pops out and when finishing my swing i automatically let loose of the baseball bat because of the pain i have hit the catcher twice already😢
@vmega443 жыл бұрын
@@WeirdThinking so it’s your right shoulder as that would be the shoulder of your top hand as a righty. With that being said, it sounds like you may have some structural issues in that shoulder. I don’t know how old you are and as I mentioned I’m not a dr. So I would see a shoulder orthopedic to get it checked. Better to miss part of one season than many more ahead. If it’s your top hand and it hurts at the end of your swing, I’m guessing you finish your swing with both hands. If you were to finish with one hand like Arod or many other ball players it may reduce the stress on that joint temporarily. But go get checked by an orthopedic guy. It could be rotator cuff issues. Once you tear them bad enough, they need surgical repair. However if the dr deems your injury as mild he will recommend physical therapy to strengthen the surrounding muscles to take the stress off of that possible injury. Good luck but get it looked at. ⚾️😎
