For the people short on time 1) Only step in the bat when you’re truly ready (gather your thoughts) 2) Have one thing in mind (could be something you worked on in practice) 3) Don’t think of what happened last pitch (flush each pitch away) 4) Watch the baseball (You can’t hit what you can’t see) Get this to the top so people can see it :)

Tony Gwynn would look at the logo on the pitcher's cap to see the ball out of the pitcher's hand. One must see it out of the pitcher's hand to hit the ball. Otherwise the reaction time is cut in half. Evan Longoria would step out and look at the flag pole or the foul pole and clear his head before stepping back into the box. I think the one thing to keep in mind when one steps in the box is to see the ball out of the pitcher's hand and hit the ball hard up the middle. Then you will hit the ball where it is pitched. Less is more.

This video is at El Pomar right? I've played there a ton. I'm a freshman at Air Academy, did you go to high school in the Springs? If so, what school, and what college did you play for? Love the content, especially the outfield videos.

In total this season, about 5 tournaments I've had 6 swinging bunts as I got into the box and got "excited" and was way early on the pitch, some of them were infield singles but they were pitches I should've pit a good hard swing on.

I call them feel thoughts when working on something it will be thought thoughts but lve dialed that in and moved to a better level l want feel thoughys but maybe one thought thought the king thought always the thought image of through the hitting zone real good seeing in my mind ball coming off the bat

Trust me guys, the first one really helped me a lot. Always have the mentality that the pitch will be a strike that you will swing at. Don’t sit there overthinking it. If it doesn’t look good to you just hold the bat back. I always have the mentality that it’s gonna be a fastball down the middle.
