The fact that a Manchester United fan did a positive review of a Liverpool matchday is going to draw narky hate-filled comments from fans of both sides, so let me address all the haters in bulk: UNITED FANS - just because I made a video helping people see their first Liverpool game and recommending their stadium tours (exactly the same as what I did for Manchester City), doesn’t make me any less of a United fan. I have no problem against Liverpool FC or their friendly staff, I don’t have to ‘hate’ their fans or their city. And I refuse to sing those disgusting chants about Hillsborough (and you should too, it’s bloody disgraceful). You got a problem about that? Come find me. S126, Row KK, Seat 93 LIVERPOOL FANS - some of you will take any negative from this video and accuse me of being ‘biased and spiteful’, solely because I’m from Manchester (and a fan of the other reds), which is complete and utter nonsense. This was purely a factual vlog to help people from around the world come to YOUR city and spend money at YOUR club. I guarantee that if I was a Portsmouth fan, you wouldn’t have those same problems. You may disagree with 1% of this video and that’s fine, but I guarantee that the other 99% was spot on. So please … knock off the whole ‘hate this video and hurl abuse at him because he’s a Manc’ crap - it’s getting tired & old. If fans from both sides still feel like acting cynically towards a guy trying to help first time fans watch a Liverpool game, that’s your choice, be sure to leave your dislikes and leave quietly. Saves me from blocking and deleting your negative comments.

Yes, it is a strange system indeed! I think most of the big clubs operate this way. But some of the lower league clubs who probably don't have the same sort of demand for tickets, they could never get away with charging people membership fees just to apply for tickets. The NFC thing is purely a Liverpool thing for now, but because it works so well at deterring ticket touts, I think every club will start adopting this. Thanks again for stopping by! 😀

@UltimateBucketList9 ай бұрын
No no, the Soccer Bus (#917) will take you to Anfield from Sandhills Station, not Lime Street Station. The bus from Lime Street is #17, the bus stop is at the Queen Square Bus Station which is just as you exit the station. It's across the street where St George's Hall is. If you're not sure, ask someone. This bus will drop you off right outside the Kop. To go back to the city centre, just take the bus on the opposite side of the street going in the opposite direction. Bus #17 runs every 10 minutes, so there should be plenty of opportunities to get there on time. Hope that helps?

Ah, thanks for that. I didn't think it was just a co-incidence. But this was happening all throughout the game. I think there was a school group in front of us, and kids and their parents kept walking around during the game, which I found super annoying. But I'm pretty sure it's not like that all the time, right?

If you buy stuff at the shop before the game what do you do with your bag of goodies if bags aren't allowed in the stadium?

Hi thank you for this vid. A female Liverpool fan from Indonesia. I went to Anfield in 2015 with backpack. I am going again for the Brighton match on 31/3/24. My question is can I take small cross body bag in the size of A4? I read conflicting infos. In your experience, do you see female spectators wearing small bags into the match? Thank you so much
@UltimateBucketList8 ай бұрын
Hello. Yes, I see female spectators carry small crossbody bags into the stadium. They usually argue that they carry medicines or female hygiene products and they let them in (after a bag search). However, the official club policy is "no bags" except for those from the LFC Store. See the official club rules for details: www.liverpoolfc.com/matchday/stadium-access#:~:text=No%20Bags%20are%20permitted%20in,bag%20search%20on%20entry%20point. Thanks.

@UltimateBucketList Жыл бұрын
Firstly you'll get ripped off as it'll be about 4 times the cost of the actual ticket, and secondly if it's real - Liverpool could easily deny you access, as you bought the ticket from an unauthorised 3rd party website. I know that Manchester United do this all the time. As mentioned in the video, best way is just to buy membership and apply officially.

@UltimateBucketList7 ай бұрын
Hi Tommy, I don't believe that would suffice, as the readers use the NFC on your phone to verify the ticket. Otherwise, anyone could just screenshot your ticket and use it before you to gain access. Besides, there's someone at every turnstile checking your phones, so it's unlikely you could get away with a paper ticket these days.

@@UltimateBucketListI understand, but I am from Los Angeles and want to go to Liverpool vs Man City in March. There is no way I can qualify for tickets to that match, so what would be my alternative?
@UltimateBucketList Жыл бұрын
@@sevanbarseghian173 Ah, I see. Liverpool tickets are hard enough to get anyway, but it's even harder against the big teams like City & United etc. I really wasn't kidding when I said that they're the toughest tickets in the country to get, especially with their strict 'requirements & qualifications'. There (might) be third party companies that can send you an NFC ticket to your phone, but I've never used any, mainly because they're a rip off (£490 for a £33 seat). The only way to guarantee tickets (without having to buy membership or qualify) is to overpay for Corporate Hospitality through the official website. I know that's not what you want to hear, but it beats paying the same price for a normal ticket on a 3rd party website and risking that your tickets might not be real. But hey, at least you get nice food and a decent seat for that price. They do release a small number of tickets to the general public about a week before the match (keep checking the website), but as you can imagine, they go fast.
@sevanbarseghian173 Жыл бұрын
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you for that! It is very helpful. Do you know usually how much hospitality tickets go for for big matches?
@UltimateBucketList Жыл бұрын
@@sevanbarseghian173 it varies depending on who's playing, but it's a few hundred. You know what might be helpful ... if you call / e-mail them and explain your circumstances (i.e. you're from LA and you're coming to the UK), they might be able to give you the inside track on tickets or corporate hospitality specifically for that game.
