Good point about running it back. The Indians of ‘95 - ‘99 were always tweaking the team. Each year the team came back as a contender. Some moves made the team worse, and some moves made the better. Regardless, those teams were contending 6 out of 7 years (‘95 - ‘01)

The Cleveland Indians or if you call them the Guardians are all one in the same as they or it sucks. I will call them the Cleveland Indians as they lost in the Cleveland indians fashion. Another stupid manager move as Vogt failed to make the right call and walk Stanton, like walk him twice. The blame goes on Vogt's shoulders as he let down everbody who likes the Guardians. A manger he is not as he just stood there and in his mind says "ok" pitch to him instead of saying let's walk this guy Intentionally as he has hit a multitude of homers very recently with first base open both games.

This hurt, And still believe they were built to win a Championship this year, but the Yankees beat our best, so congrats. I was hoping they would go deep enough to convince Naylor to take a friendly deal to stay, but alas, he should be traded before opening day. No big Free Agents, let Rochie stew, this should burn for a bit and he should come back next year ready to go. (I know he will be vilified by the error, but I have more confidence in him now than at any other point) We are going to need another catcher, one like Fry would be too much to ask for, but I am asking. Leave this team alone, let them use this as a learning tool, let them remember how close they came and how they each had opportunities to make a difference. Let this burn all off season and then let it go and get to work. This team can compete for Championships (plural), this was just stage 1. Go Guardians
