The British Class system forced the poor people into slavery and punished them for their existence. The Georgian period was one of the cruelest in history. The entire legal system is corrupt and based significantly on Norman Law, which imposes little mercy in its current doctrine. The bad seed of colonialism was far from civilised. It certainly has a lot of blood on its hands, if that at all is something to be profoundly proud of ?
