Fun fact: Windcharger and the others (Brawn, Huffer and Gears) were originally going to be released in 1983 under the Mysterians toyline, they were apparently conceptualized by an American company called Knickerbocker, while the molds were outsourced to Takara (my theory), but the toys were never released until 1984 when the Mysterians toyline was cancelled, and they were released under the Microchange branding

He's alt mode is a 1982 Pontiac Trans-am with over-sided off road tires. This makes little sense for a sports car in have in the late 70's and early 80's as rebuilt kits were very expensive and rare. I never realize what he turned into until a few years later when I look it up (ding) went my realizing bulb!
