Just look how good Shaun really is and then then realize how many notches ahead of that, Chris plays

I remember Shaun shooting in the pool leagues in Quincy, Illinois. Good to see him still playing!

Nothing stays the same, everything changes including pool. Back in the day some professional players would hardly waste time on a bar box. Maybe it's still like that, maybe not. I get a big vibe from the pros they like playing on smaller tables. It makes their already mad skills seem even greater. It also makes good economical sense. The more games played on coin tables the more the house makes....... everybody's happy.

This is like child's play for Chris tbh, coming from UK pool tables. No way many of those shots hitting the rail would still go in on a UK pool table, esp. the older UK tables which have even tighter pockets. Obviously the larger balls make a difference to the play and feel but any pro pool player who was brought up on UK tables is always likely to have an advantage, at least on pinpoint accuracy because UK tables are very unforgiving. I'm not sure how many UK players cross over to US to be honest. US players probably could really improve aspects of their game by practicing on a UK table (or playing snooker). Edit: BTW, this isn't a criticism, before some people start getting all defensive, just an observation.

Chri Smelling should not call himself the magician.

Grow up. There's only so many nicknames out there and there's plenty of magicians to go around.

@@bertblue9683 there might be only so many nicknames in your vocabulary. That is the most famous nickname in pool already taken by Efren.

That means you should also change your name and stop calling yourself shawjoe

@@reviverevlio that makes no sense. I didn't steal someone's nickname. If they started calling me the South Dakota kid I would not wear that on a shirt

Chris Smelling the Magician, sounds good to me, I like it. Chris is an outstanding professional, and does well commentating games.
