I’m sorry there is a digital glitch in the video that cannot be corrected. The part that is missing says: “Using either a T-30 Torx bit or an 8mm socket, remove the screws that hold the clutch cover in place. Separate the two air ducts from the clutch cover.”

Yeah you can take the skid plate off or just deal with it still on to get the bottom bolts. Either way it's a pain in the ass.

I just put an ultimax uxp446 belt on my 1000 renegade and the cvt sounds awful now! Any tips on what could have gone wrong? It whined in a pitch it has never done before, only in a certain rpm (4000 ish) didn't sound healthy at all 😩 could the cvt have taken damage when my old belt blew? I cleaned it thoroughly so no pieces were left inside

I’m sorry we missed the question “Is it OK to switch between 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive while driving?” 2WD/4WD doesn’t impact the belt drive. It’s a completely separate system. That’s a question the ATV manufacturer would have to answer.

My 2019 maverick trail 1000 dps says bring to complete stop before switching to 4x4. May cause damage to switch on go. Locking diff. Is ok on the fly though.
