I think EARC wasn't working when you were testing the speaker,so either you didn't use the proper hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 cable or the TV is an older model and doesn't support earc but only arc and to experience Dolby atmos you need a tv with earc 2.1 hdmi input.

Hello... what sound bar do you recommend that has good bass without having to raise the volume too much... so that the whole room resonates during movies?

Its handy being able to turn down the bass at night to not annoy the neighbours, I have the D60 but this one looks better.

Nice review congrats! How about getting dolby from pc but with a gaming monitor that does not support dolby atmos passthrough, were you able to make it work this way? One solution i found on the internet is to connect the sounbar to the a gpu hmdi port as set it as a duplicate display. Have you ever tried this ?

If the two surround speakers are wired and not wireless, how long are the cables that connect the two surround speakers to the subwoofer?

Also, the description at Amazon does not say, but I asked the question and received an answer that stated the base level could be adjusted separately on the subwoofer apart from the soundbar. Is this true?

Hi Joelster! I have a choice between the Nova S80 or the older Vizio v51-h6 for the same price in Canada on Amazon . The specs look better on the Ultimea S80 And I'm strongly leaning towards it? Any thoughts on which one you would pick?

Hello nice video and review. I have this for 2-3 days , amd i have and the previous one from the same company the d60 . And i notice that d60 are more powerful, at d60 on level of sound 8-10 is so loud but on this i must go to level 35-40 to listen a little bit loud same for sub and rears. Also my s80 has max volume at 100 and the sub menu goes from -6 to +6 . Do you believe that maybe received problematic material??

Its dolby surround, not dolby digital. Means its simulated Atmos, not legit. Even though its a soundbar it shouldnt be simulated as it has up firing speakers. Basically its not teue dolby digital, no dts etc its just a cheap knock off and be better off with a decent 2.1 bar from jbl/Samsung for less money than this £400 on amazon and will sound far better

Sort of, but it depends if you're using Blu-Ray for full Atmos or streaming, when this is totally adequate

Only positives on this company are paid reviewers like this guy. Loook at Amazon reviews, says nect to them free sample reviewers...... Only real reviews are 2 or 1 star reviews.

Yea which is why I got the D50 for $100 and it’s awesome. It’s #7 or #10 in Amazon electronics overall. Pretty good

Im still using this soundbar on a daily basis and I still stand on my review, no issues at all, the surround effect is great, i just wish it has more bass.

What a piece of junk. The S80 has no bass and the sound is terrible. I got the S80 as a replacement for the D60 because the rear speakers blew and stopped working. The D60 out performance the S80 hands down with crazy bass and sound. The S80 has a 8” Subwoofer but yet it has no bass even at the bass level set to +6 The D60 only has a 5” Subwoofer and boy does it have bass rocks my hole living room. Don’t believe the people reviewing it on KZbin there payed to give it a good review.
