Gran pegador, valiente, aguerrido, era Ultiminio 'Sugar' Ramos. Enfrento a lo mejor del mundo en peso pluma. No tuvo el boxeo o aguante para sostenerse contra Carlos Ortiz en los ligeros. Contra Mando Ramos libro un gran combate en Los Angeles. Vencio a Chango Carmona en Mexico en los livianos. Gran peleador de una epoca inolvidable del boxeo, los 50', 60, y parte de los 70'. Nunca olvidaremos su gran entrega a este duro deporte. Descanse en paz campeon.

Ramos face is unbelievably swollen after the fight. 44:12 He is unrecognizable. Based on what I see here, Robertson won the fight.

Its boxing thats not how boxing works just becausr somone went easy in the first 10 and went hard on the last 5 rounds dont mean they won every round has equal opportunity for scoring give your head a wobble

My late father, Vincent Mc cafferty, befriended Floyd Robertson when he lived & boxed for a time in Belfast in the late 1950s. There's old black & white pictures of him winning fights in Belfast, perhaps the empire title and also pic of him & my father in a place called star taxis, dad worked there as a foreman mechanic & he got Floyd a job there working the petrol pumps. Said he was a brilliant boxer & really nice man.

Apparently as soon as they could leave the stadium Ramos and Angelo Dundee headed for the airport and caught the first flight out of Ghana. Apparently they finished up in Spain!

Mando Ramos fought this great fighter. Mando was a fighter with the talent to stay away from a fighter and win, but he enjoyed getting in there close and do battle.
