I've always had a soft spot for BHop. His Boxing IQ was on another planet, and coupled with a nasty streak, and a willingness to get down and dirty, he might not have been my favourite boxer, but he was probably the most ideal boxer for my tastes and what I love about boxing. Great video again, Jamie.

This reminds me of deontay wilder vs Joseph Parker and tank vs Garcia The perfect counter game plan, not only stripping the opponent of his biggest weapon, but using it against him

this is, probably, my all time favorite fight. i had become a hopkins fan during his fights with robert allen. i loved his ugly, beautiful style. i remember thinking that the ppv would be cancelled and when it wasn't i was excited. i remember that fight night atmosphere like none other i ever experienced, even over a tyson fight. it was as if everything around me had been blacked out and that fight was all there was; i don't even remember the undercard. what a hell of a night.

one of the smartest fighters of all time.......the pre-fight antics as well as the perfect execution of his game plan. truly believe it was time (age) that beat hopkins against calzaghe. a younger hopkins would have probably won fairly easily. kinda surprise hopkins didn't become a trainer. he would be an incredible one.

The thumbnail for this video speaks volumes. Bernard’s stance presents few openings. Tito’s offensive square up offers many targets

Even the rounds that Trinidad may have won were basically still Hopkins rounds…he effectively countered every offensive that Trinidad mounted

It's funny to think about the fact that people were speculating if BHop was too old to face Trinidad😂 The dude unified the light heavyweight title almost 13 years later at age 49. He definitely is something else

Crazy to think! But that's what people thought at the time. Mad how he was able to continue boxing at a high/elite level into his 40s.

As a Puerto Rican I was so upset seeing hopkins throw my flag on the floor that was so disrespectful but it was a smart move to get in tito's head and defeated tito Trinidad Trinidad fell for it he should've stayed focused and composed and not let nothing get to you and piss you off to end up fighting with anger that was Trinidads downfall in that fight aside from hopkins being a skilled determined boxer salute to hopkins I can't hate on him he's great he's a legend and he's from PENNSYLVANIA AS WELL AS MYSELF SO ILL NEVER HATE ON HOPKINS WE FROM PISTOLVANIA BABY ITS IN OUR BLOOD

This level of execution is what I hoped Haney would’ve implemented against Ryan given his left hook. Hopefully he can in the future, and Haney Ryan 2 is like Cotto Margarito 2. You can be faster and / or stronger than B-Hop, but like Floyd, there are very who can outthink him.
