I suspect it's the ammo. Or a combination of the two due to no communication on specifications for case/ shell length and breech size. Or just a shitty ejection system for spent casings.

In actuality/lore the special feed mechanism for double taps can overexpand with use, so the next shot jammes when a double tap is tried. and the jam lasting ~1.5 to 2 times a regular cooldown is a safety feature to prevent the gun from exploding.

2nd game The enemy guy chatting at the start was the urbanmech...so always watch the chatter because you might catch a delayed dude that spent time writing instead of moving

Have you ever tried a UAC 20 Summoner? Its very maneuverable and quite good.

If you're only using 1 of the ballistic hard points you can use the C (I think it is) which has 2 ballistic hard points and has 5 energy hard points so you can do 5 medium pulse or whatever you want.
